This morning things were running swell. Around 11am, Vendio was down, could not access any pages. Around 11:30, Vendio was up and running. Now, at 1:25, Vendio is only HALF WORKING. Slow to access pages. No pics showing on my auctions. Could you PLEASE get it together!!!

Not working here either. Taking forever to load any Vendio pages. All other internet sites load fast including Ebay. Biut none of Vendio pages load unless you wait forever.

THIS IS NOT GOOD! Vendio images are taking FOREVER to download and show up on ebay auctions. This is the SAME exact issue that took place last week. What the heck is going on over there guys!

We pay good money to Vendio to have a reliable service and it has been MOST unreliable for the last week!!!! I personally (and I know I am not the only seller) who has lost a lot of money due to low bids on items on ebay because buyers COULD NOT SEE THE PHOTOS. Or they left the auction description because they could not wait until photos finally downloaded. This equals lost bids which equals lost money!!! The service has been SUPER slow or it has been non-existent.

Vendio customer service - PLEASE DO SOMETHING FAST!

In addition to photos loading incredibly slow - it takes forever to be able to access the sales manager page to manage my auctions. So it must not just be an image hosting problem on Vendio today - it must be a SYSTEM wide problem!

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON???????

Same symptoms exist here in Toronto.

Images are incredibly slow to load and display and Vendio site itself is very slow.

Two weeks before Thanksgiving is the slowest part of the year. Are we going to survive Christmas this year?

It is the same for everyone. Vendio is working to give us a better product by combining Andale and Vendio together. I am pretty sure they are working on the back end to make that happen for all of us and in the meantime there will be intermitant downtime.
No service out here is up 100% of the time. Some people on here make it out to be the end of the world if the site is slow or has any sort of issue. Reminds me of the Y2K scare! lol
What ever happened to staying positive? Message boards seem to be littered with negativity anymore. They used to be fun and informative to read and be a part of, but not anymore. People have no respect for one another it seems.
Just my .02

Is anyone having trouble sending WBN's? I can't send them and customers want to checkout but can't?

Ron:

The only time I know something is wrong is when I see others post if on the boards. Otherwise I think it is just me.

I don't see negativity on this board, I see frustration.

My 2 cents.

I agree - not negativity. Pure frustration with things not working the way they are suposed to. And this is THE worst time of the year to make system changes. The Holiday time is not the time to upgrade or change systems/programs. Even if in the long run it is for the better of the product. There are better times of the year to make changes. That is typically something ebay seems to do - but I thought Vendio was better organized than that.....

These message boards are to alert Vendio of problems. Yes, sometimes frustration can sound like negativity, but, oh well, we are. If you are looking for positive, up-beat message boards, I would suggest trying entertainment sites. When things are running well, generally we are busy WORKING and making money and don't have time or reason to complain. I guess that's my .02 cents.

Hello all,

We were (obviously) having some intermittent access issues earlier today, with a few mini-outages (generally lasting under 15 minutes). These issues have been resolved and should not occur any longer - we have actually just completed a large system upgrade that should greatly increase site stability going forward. I do apologize for the lack of communication but during the outage windows we were unable to access the site to post announcements, and to compound the issue the outages were very brief and unpredictable. We appreciate your patience as we make preparations for the busy holiday selling season.

Thanks,

Diana

Ron,
I wish I could be more positive and optimistic about Vendio problems. Just on one of my eBay accounts my eBay fees are over $8,000 a month right now. If Vendio is slow or not accessible, I cannot sell. If I cannot sell, I loose sale and still pay huge eBay fees. Can you enlighten me what is so positive about it.

On even more serious note, I really believe Vendio engineers are very good and they try to do everything to keep us going. I think, and this is the scarriest aspect of the situation, that Vendio just oversold the service and they do not have capacity to expend.

Jack
