We are still having email rejected by certain mail servers, including WBNs, Payment Received messages, and Shipment Status Notifications; in other words, all of our seller communications from our Vendio.com email address!

Att.net continues to mark Vendio mail as Spam; this is what they say should be done if this occurs:

“550 Error. Blocked for abuse”: This means that your mail was blocked because it was sent by a system that we have reason to think has sent high levels of spam to our customers in the past.

What to do: Ask the administrator of your mail system to contact us through our System Administrators' page and provide the information we need to investigate the problem.

Since I get no followup when I contact Vendio directly, I've decided to publically ask Vendio to contact Att.net as requested and get this fixed! It would be helpful if you would also get this worked out with mchsi.com and the other ISPs who regularly block our correspondence. These communication failures can't continue, as they are beginning to reflect in our eBay ratings/feedback scoring!

Vendio mail has been regularly considered SPAM for years. And when it is returned to my email account, it is automatically put into the spam file.

Hello,

We are aware of the problem you are reporting, and it has been escalated to our engineering group as a high-priority issue. We are actively evaluating the issue and hope to have a resolution shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Thank you for your patience.

Nathan,

This is the standard response I receive from you and others at Vendio. If you aren't going to do something about this problem, why don't you just be honest about it so that we can make other arrangements for transacting business with our buyers?

On the same subject, this is the ISPs explanation from an undelivered email message I received back this evening:

@mchsi.com>: host
gateway.mchsi.com[204.127.203.150] said:

Blocked for abuse. Please contact the
administrator of your ISP or sending
mailservice. (in reply to MAIL FROM
command)

This has been going on far too long and has become intolerable. If a Vendio customer is a spammer, get rid of them! If Vendio is not spamming, get this cleared up now! It's not just Vendio's business that is affected here; it's everyone who pays you and uses a Vendio email address! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME ANOTHER CANNED RESPONSE!

This is a new ISP rejecting our Vendio emails:

Obviously they believe that emails or messages from Vendio's customers are not worth reading; a belief that this ISP and Vendio apparantly have in common!

Thanks phonecardpro for continuing to pursue this issue -- you and I continue to post on it and nothing gets done. We need this fixed Vendio or WBNs will be useless shortly. This has escalated from a small portion of my WBNs being returned to half of them being returned ... in less than a year.

Nathan (or whomever is monitoring this discussion);

I've seen some improvement from AT&T emails, but I believe that a lot of our email notices are dropping into a 'black hole' somewhere, as many of my responses through Customer Manager do not seem to be read, and I have to reply through eBay Messages.

Here is the latest ISP blocking emails from Vendio's IP address:

[email protected]>: host
xmxatip.excite.com[207.159.120.164] said:

5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host
[208.82.240.254] blocked using
blackholes.excite.com; Sender address
rejected: Access denied Error: WS-19
(in reply to RCPT TO command)

Please do what you can to fix this situation, as communicating with my customers using Vendio's notices is a BIG part of why I pay for Vendio's services!
