I have noticed lately that some of my titles have letters missing. I am not beyond making typos, but when I check on these items, the title in the Vendio Title Box is right - it's the Ebay title that is truncated. Has anyone else had this problem? How can this happen?

Example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160187692659

The Ebay title is "Gasparill Ship.." - and the Vendio title is correct: "Gasparilla Ship..". I did not revise the item - what gives? (Is Vendio letting me enter too many characters?)

Hello,

I checked this listing, and from what I can see it appears that the listing title was revised before it was relisted. On about how many items have you had this happen? Also, have you seen this happen to more recent listings as well?

Regards,
Nathan

I had one today - I must have revised the EBay version of it the first time it was listed - the "R" was left off the title "Matinique" instead of "Martinique". When I went in to revise, the Ebay title was wrong but the Vendio title was right! Odd that the revision feeds back to Vendio for the description but not for the title!

Hello,

I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly. If you revise a listing directly through eBay, then the revisions will not be reflected in Vendio (whether they are revisions to the title or to the description).

I checked this listing, as well as the original listing from which it was relisted. I am showing that both listings were sent over to eBay with the "R" in "MARTINIQUE".

Did the listing "160190148467" originally not have the "R", and you revised it to include the "R"? Do you by any chance have a recent example that has not yet been revised?

Regards,
Nathan

It originially came through with the Ebay title as "Matinique". I had to revise it because no one would even find it with the misspelled title. I revised only the title - the title bar in the description was right.

I will watch for others - I've noticed it every now and then before this but didn't think much of it until now.

It looks like I revised them both when I ran them the first time - the revision to the description did feed back to Vendio evidently but not the title.
Martinique - Matinique

Gasparill - Gasparilla
