I would like to use only a fixed price shipping cost in my listing but when I go to "ok" the listing it is telling me that I have to include one calculated shipping option. Where do I go to fix this problem so that it will be just fixed shipping? And will I have to change it every time I want to change the way I charge for shipping?

Hello Lynn,

You should only see that message if you have a shipping option box checked either in your listings or in your global settings. I did take a look at your global settings and they appear to be ok, what is the item inside your account where you are seeing this?

it appeared in all of my auctions. Here is an example ebay auction: Holt Howard Ketchup Pixie Pixieware Condiment Jar Spoon Item number: 150199969108

I was trying to just have fixed shipping of $5.00. I use Sales Manager Pro. When I try to make a new listing it says the same thing. It has a box that pops up and says this "warning" "you must specify at least one calculated rate shipping carrier"

So I pick one and then it says "warning" you need a weight.

In the end it is listed in ebay and the shipping is showing up on my page as $5.60 and I only want it to be $5.00 and that means that someone in California looking at the auction page is seeing an even higher shipping amount.

I must need to change a setting somewhere...but where?

It is still doing it.

Hello,

Within the Sales Manager Pro listing page, try this:

Go to the "eBay Site Information" tab. Then click on "Payment Instructions & Details". Check the box for "I use fixed shipping rates". Then let us know if you continue to have trouble entering a fixed shipping rate for the listing.

Nathan

Lets try again!!
Now it is telling me "warning" "Please select a valid insurance amount to use with ebay fixed shipping".
How can I pick an amount when I don't know the price the item will sell for?
I tried both "optional" and "recommended". I get the same warning.
I have looked in my account settings and they are set at "optional".
What to try next?

Hello,

If you are offering fixed shipping, and specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout, then eBay will not allow you to offer calculated insurance. If you are specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout, eBay will only allow fixed insurance with fixed shipping, or calculated insurance with calculated shipping. You will need to do one of the following:

1. Not offer insurance.
2. Offer fixed shipping with fixed insurance.
3. Offer calculated shipping with calculated insurance.
4. Not specify shipping costs for eBay checkout (note that this may negatively effect how your listings appear in eBay search).

Regards,
Nathan
