Hi,
I posted this on the Vendio Store thread too, but hoping I might get help faster here... I noticed that when a customer buys something from me through Ebay, then they use my checkout through my Vendio store - it automatically adds other items to their total (something else they might like???) and then they have to "remove" the item to get the correct total for the item they really purchased. Is there a way to turn this off? It's very annoying and confusing to my customers. Please help ASAP!
Thanks.

Hello,
The store cannot add items to a shopping cart automatically. The buyer is shown items they *can* add to their cart if they want to, but nothing is forced on them by any means.

Thank you for the response... but it showed the item in the total due and you had to click "remove" before it was deducted from the total. Is it possible to change this and not have it show other items in the total? I think it's VERY confusing and frustrating to my customers.

Hello,
Did you hear from a customer on this issue, or did you just notice this yourself in your store?
It sounds like a cookie issue. You were in your store at one point, something was added to your cart. If you hadn't deleted your browser cookies from that point to when you went back to your store, the item would be added to your order based on that cookie.
Once you remove it from your cart, you won't see it again and your buyers never will unless they do the exact same (add something to the cart first.)
Regards,
Christopher

Whew, ok... I had been playing around trying to figure out my new store and didn't realize it would hold that extra item in my cart for that many days. Glad to know it's not showing up for other customers : )
Thanks so much!
