Hi,
I just noticed that my eBay listings look very add and misaligned. I have not changed anything recently and I need your help to correct it.

Example: 250218473971

In Firefox, eBay portion of the listing is wider and sticks out beyond my template. Template is narrower and is not as wide as the rest.

In Internet Explorer, the auction looks better but it dose not adjust to the size of the monitor and viewer has to scroll sideways to see the pictures. I'm using 24" screen and still need to move to the side to see the pictures.

Can you help me to correct it? Is it template or my code?

Hello,

I took a look at this listing in both Firefox and Internet Explorer, but I was unable to see the problem. There is a blue border around your Vendio template. The eBay section will be stretched out to the same edges where the border begins. Is that what you are seeing in Firefox? If so, to correct that you would need to remove the border from your template for your future listings. I also checked this in Internet Explorer, but I did not need to scroll to see the entire listing. What versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer are you using?

Regards,
Nathan

Firefox/2.0.0.12
IE 6.0.2900.2180 SP2

I see it on both office and home computers.

I have uploaded 3 screen views to my pictures in Vendio/UNTITLED folder (template issue.gif). You can see vertical line and part of my template beyond the line. eBay part is much narrower than template border.

If you cannot see it, hopefully my customers cannot see it either but I did not have this issue before.

Hello,

First, to be clear, the blue border that I was referring to earlier was the thick blue border that is part of your Vendio template. Based on the images that you provided that does not appear to be the problem.

The problem appears to be with the thin blue border that eBay places around your entire listing. From the images that you have provided, the thin blue border is not appearing in the correct place (on your browser/computer). This is not just the case for the Vendio part of the listing, but also the eBay parts of the listing that Vendio cannot control. The eBay thin blue border should encompass your entire listing, and be on the outside of the eBay sections of the listing as well as the Vendio sections of the listing. Based on this and the images that you provided, the problem does not appear to be on Vendio's end. Have you tried contacting eBay about this?

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan,
Thanks for your replies. As always, I have ASSUMED it was Vendio problem, aren't we all?

I will contact eBay and report back to you.

Thanks,
Jack
