ebabe: Do you have the Dealio toolbar that Vendio promotes on your listings? This is part of that I guess.

I don't think I do but I do use all of Vendio's services.
I keep getting these notices and I don't know what to do.
Is Vendio trying to install spyware on my computer or something?

This is for the Dealio toolbar.
Dealio is a way for you to make money from Vendio. If you install the dealio logo on your auctions and people click on it and then download it, you make a few bucks.
Now you can opt out of Dealio by going to "My Account" Partner Promotions.
If you downloaded the desktop SMPro, you had to tell it not to download Dealio on your computer.
If you do not want dealio on your computer, you most likely can go to Control Panel on your computer, then Add or Remove Programs. Look for dealio. Then remove it.
I would not download this file if you are not running Dealio or using Dealio.
You can always send an email via the Contact us to Vendio also.
If you are very concerned about what is on your computer, go to Castle Cops and follow their protocol on installing Hijack This and submit the results to them. They will tell you if you have any malicious spyware, etc.

Thanks for the help Beth.
I have Spyware Doctor and McAfee Security (this is the one that is detecting the download)
Generic PUP.c is the name of program. This is showing as a known virus name according to McAfee.
I'll contact Vendio CS via email - I was hoping they would reply here.
Beth is correct. This is for the Dealio toolbar, which is a buyer tool. It is okay to install, but if you do not want the Dealio toolbar on your computer, then it is not necessary to install. If you have already installed it and you want to remove it, you may do so from the Add/Remove programs section of your computer. Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.
