I was able to start my auction SKU 54011 without any problems but when I copied it to create new item SKU 54033 I wasn't able to launch the new item with the same title length.

I went back to the original auction that I previously launched SKU 54011 and I couldn't re-launch it either.

Same error: title too long for fixed auction in eBay Motors.

What seems to be the problem?

Thanks,
Jack

Hello Jack,

There is a 55 character limit for listing titles (an eBay limit). The current active listing for your SKU 54011 has the title "Smittybilt Black Bull Bar 2007-2008 Toyota Tundra" (49 characters). The inventory item, however, is currently set up with the title "Smittybilt Black Bull Bar Skid Plate 07-08 Toyota Tundra" (56 characters). Please edit the title within the "Site Specifics" tab of the inventory item so that it is 55 characters or less, and you should be able to launch without error.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan,
I hate when you are correct. I keep forgetting about title difference in "specifics" section.

Thanks,
Jack
