Hi, please let me know if there is a problem with images showing.
I have checked on my end through my Charter Communications broadband connection and my Earthlink telephone connection and my images still do not show up.
I have checked other seller's auctions and images do not seem to be a problem on ebay's side.
Please explain.

Hi there,
I do not see any problem with images currently. Can you tell us where you are located geographically? It would be helpful if you went to Start -> Run and enter ping imagehost.vendio.com and paste the results back here.
Please be assured that your images should be viewable to most if not all buyers.

Hello,
Your going to want to run a scan on your computer for any possible spyware or malware.
If you don't have something already for this, here is one ive used before with success:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
Of course were not related to that company, so use it at your own risk, but it is a free program and most people like it.
I can't say why they appear broken for you, as they do seem to be loading ok from the available locations we have had to test with (and no other reports, or signs of issues here.)
Hopefully whatever is causing you to see that spam on the broken link will also be the cause of the seemingly dead images and fixing one will take care of both issues.
Best of luck and let us know the results of your efforts or if the behavior changes any.

Hi, I am still having a problem with my images.
The gallery images are showing but when I click on the auction the images are not there.
I have done a number of scans- adaware and spybot etc, but this has not corrected the problem.
I am at a loss with this problem.
I cannot even see my images through 'image hosting' on vendio so I cannot use vendio to load up my images.
And I certainly cannot list any items through vendio because I cannot see the images.
It does not seem to be my computer, I am unable to see them using my husband's computer.
This is a major issue for me, I have been with vendio since the early days and if I can't use the images I will have to go another service.
I could use some help, I have cleared my cache and done everything else I can think of.

Hi again.
More information on the lack of images.
When I click on the empty square when my images are supposed to be I get this URL:

I also registered with Auctiva last night and my images do show up on that site.
I feel that I am not getting any help from vendio at this point, and although I hate to go to another service I seem to have no other choice....

I am having the same problem. Image hosting has not been working for me either through Vendio or through Ebay for the last 24 hours. I have gotten no response from Vendio other than the response that there is no problem. There definitely is. I have also checked at a friend's house and my auction images are not visible on their system either. I am getting extremely frustrated!

I was beginning to think I was going crazy.
Are you using Charter Communications?
And if so have you tried contacting them?
Have you tried viewing you images using aol, earthlink or another service provider?
There seems to be a continuing problem over the past two years with communications between Charter Communications and certain web sites, vendio included in those sites.
It is an isolated problem but if you are using Charter please contact them to provide them with your information.
Vendio chooses to ignore the problem even though it affects their customers.

Our engineers are looking at this problem, and at this point they have been unable to locate a problem on our end. They are continuing to investigate this, however. The problem currently appears to be limited to people who are using Charter Communications as their ISP. If anyone is using a different ISP and is also experiencing this problem, please let us know.
Please be aware that 95% of your buyers will be able to view your images on your active listings. We will continue to investigate the problem, but in the meantime you might want to contact your ISP and ask if they can see a problem on their end. Please let us know their response. I called Charter last night and they cannot find the problem as yet.
Perhaps your technicians could contact Charter and see if you all can resolve this problem.
It has occured before so there must be a problem in the pipeline communication between vendio (and certain other sites) and Charter.
I think that it would behoove you to contact them since other sites similar to vendio are not having this problem.
If I cannot see my images when I try to list my items for sale, then I cannot use vendio and you will have lost a long time customer.
But it is always the same story- "not my problem"-
It sure would be nice if someone would be proactive in this matter.

Hi, as of 4:30pm this afternoon the problem was still occuring, however as of 9:00pm tonight the problem seems to be fixed.
I am not sure whether is was Charter or Vendio who fixed it but thank you.

I'm afraid it was only for a few hours and then no images again.
I don't believe that we are the only vendio customers with this problem and I wish some of them would post on this board so that we could find out how to fix this thing permanently.
In the meantime, however, I have no choice but to use another service so that I can list my items.
Although vendio assures me that most people can see my images, that is no use to me if I can't see to add a new listing.
