I haven't seen this error message before: error [03/25/08 16:39:08] [account_id=244148] Could not get gallery preferences from db.
I didn't make any changes anywhere in my account or how I normally creat an auction. The error message shows up when I preview just before launching the auction. I still have it scheduled for 7:00 tonight.
I just made a duplicate of this item and did an eBay preview, but it didn't display the error message you mentioned. It must have been a temporary glitch with the eBay preview.

Hi Christopher, no...I don't think it's a glitch. I scheduled another auction 20 or so minutes after posting this and it happened again: error [03/25/08 17:01:07] [account_id=244148] Could not get gallery preferences from db.
I won't schedule anymore auctions until I see how these look on eBay.

I get the same message, started yesterday. I don't know if it is affecting launched auctions though. Seemed to coincide with the image losses the last couple days - which appears to be fixed now.

Both auctions of mine launched with no problems. Each has the eBay Gallery thumbnail image showing up in search and the photos are also in each auction...no harm, no foul. It was kind of odd seeing that error message though.

Same problem here when trying to preview an auction I get the following message everytime:
error [03/26/08 09:32:59] [account_id=xxxxx] Could not get gallery preferences from db. Ebay Fees:
We have since been able to replicate this issue and the engineers are checking into the cause. If you notice any changes in the behavior please let us know.
