I have had errors on every single auction I tried to list today!
They read:
04/21/2008 09:40:00 AM US-Pacific Time Zone
Error 240: The item cannot be listed or modified.
The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy.
There are no improper words, and I have listed most of these items before, nor am I in any violation with eBay either.
eBay uses that error 240 for a lot of different issues. Usually you can see the specific details by doing an eBay preview, then checking the top of the preview window below the fees for more info.
If you don't see any details here, then the issue eBay had with your items has since been resolved and you should be able to list the item/s in question without error.
Recently they started filtering for Western Union again, and if your item description has that in it (even to say you dont accept it) you will need to remove it prior to relisting.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While the error 240 message IS from eBay, that isn't to say there wasn't some rare issue that caused just you to get this error when posting from Vendio that required no action to correct prior to resubmitting. We will certainly watch for other reports of the same, I just wanted to give you a heads up on what has caused that error 240 message to appear to the other users that have ran into it in the past few weeks.
Please let us know if this problem persists so we may continue to track it, as if it is a Vendio error you will likely see it again, (and hopefully by then we will find the source, and have other reports/cases to compare to) and we hope to correct it ASAP.

No problem, I will contact you if it happens again.
All 18 items that received errors were listed from 9:40 am - 10:05 am PST. Everything after that listed without errors (these were the same types of items / listings).
I launched the 18 items that did not get launched at 10:50 am PST and none of them had any problems launching.
