I note that ebay has enabled the option to list my items on the UK site.

Such an option has not been enabled at Vendio. When will we be able to use the option when listing?

Hello Bill,

There are no announcements available at this time as to if/when Vendio would support the new International Site Visibility Listing Upgrade at eBay.

Note also that while the help pages are still up on eBay about the International Site Visibility Listing Upgrade, they have yet to actually push it live to the site. There was a workshop planned as well, but they cancelled it as the whole project had been delayed.

When more information becomes available about this upcoming release, we'll post back to this thread.

Regards,
Chris

Chris, this has already gone live on eBay. I even got an eBay postcard via snail-mail advertising it. A number of us sell internationally and need this listing upgrade.

Hello,

That is great news, it was so seriously delayed many of us were wondering if it would really happen.

Have you already seen the option at eBay directly? I checked yesterday but it still didn't appear to actually be live, despite the help pages and bulk/mass email they sent out about it.

Chris

I just checked by using the revise function. The listing upgrade did not appear on the revision form. I don't think it is available yet.

The announcement - "***Now Available - International Site Visibility Listing Upgrade***" came out this morning at 10:55 AM. So, I guess it is now official. I'm going straight to my SMME and start listing!

Hello,

This is something we do plan to offer support for, and as soon as we can indicate an ETA on the project we will post back to the forums.

Is there a reason for this not being ready?

I'm sorry I just don't understand these posts--is it possible to bulk revise to include the UK /Canada upgrade?

I do not see it in Vendio reviser.
can one do it directly on eBay?

is it necessary to use merchandising edition?
I use and have allways used sales manager pro.
thanks for any instructions
my business is really hurting with Vendio not keeping up with eBay changes
thanks

Hello jdbok,

You would need to make the revision directly through eBay, at this time.

Regards,
Nathan

ok but how long is " at this time " going to be?

is Vendio making it any kind of priority to get these upgrades in effect?

To date, I've only upgraded my UK postcards in eBay. After some investigation, I find the 10 cent upgrade increases visibility in all eBay European sites, so I am considering using the upgrade for all my listings, since Europe has historically accounted for 30% of my sales. I hope this is not a complicated adjustment for Vendio.

Pixi: So, once we've listed through Vendio and our auction is launched, can we then go into "revise your auction" to add the UK visibility? ~Adele

Hello,

This feature is now available. You may select it within the main listing form (in Sales Manager Merchandising Edition) or within an inventory item (in Sales Manager Inventory Edition) through the "Features" section by selecting "International Site Visibility".

Nathan

Wonderful, Nathan! Vendio has come through for us again.

Now if you Vendio people could just fix eBay's crazy new feedback system. . . .

Hello jdbok,

While this is available with the online versions of Sales Manager, it is not available for the offline Sales Manager Pro software. You would need to upload your listings from Sales Manager Pro to your online account (but not schedule or launch the listings). You can then edit them to include this option, from your online account, and then launch the listings.

Nathan

I haven't the slightest idea what you mean
upload auctions is something I click then they are on ebay
you need to actually explain step by step how to do this and then explain to me why I can't make this a setting
I can't even see how to join merchandiosing edition or whatever the *$^%$@$#!@ it is

listen
I pay you a small fortune in fees
if my auctions don't make it to the UK what good are you? they make up about 25% of my sales!
I have been waiting for some kind of answer for weeks
now what exactly is the deal?

Hello,

Your listings will show up on eBay UK as they always have, this is just a new paid option available to get (supposedly) more users from the UK to see your items that were previously.

You already have access to the regular Sales Manager, just click the 'Sales Manager' link/tab on the left side of the services page.

In Sales Manager Pro you have the option of 'launch now' - '06/13/08' (scheduled date/time) and 'do not schedule.'

If you wanted to use this new paid feature and still list from the offline version of the program, use the 'do not schedule' option when you upload your batch.

Then, when you upload your 'do not schedule' items, they will appear in the 'Pending' section of the Sales Manager. From here you can edit them as needed to make any changes prior to launching, including enabling this international site visibility upgrade.

Regards,
Chris
