In order to have our shipping charges showing up on the Ebay listings page we had to turn off insurance as an option when listing via SMPME. How can we continue to have our auctions showing in Ebay with our shipping charges and offer insurance as well. Thank you
In order to have your shipping charges show in the eBay section of the listing, you do need to specify shipping costs for eBay checkout. You can offer insurance and still have your shipping charges show in the eBay section. Note, however, that if you are offering insurance and specifying shipping charges for eBay checkout, you do need to specify fixed insurance with fixed shipping (or calculated insurance with calculated shipping), per eBay rules.
To clarify this, you *can* use fixed insurance with calculated shipping, but you *cannot* use calculated insurance with fixed shipping (when specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout).

I am still not clear why we cannot offer insurance for fixed shipping. If we state that shipping for an item is $6.95 fixed and the item sells for $500.00 why can't we offer insurance at $2.00 per $100 or something like that. We did this in the past but with either changes with ebay or Vendio we are not able to do this.
You can, if you don't enable the eBay shipping and payment details (which will be required shortly) as Vendio will allow you to mismatch calculated insurance and fixed shipping.
The problem is that eBay will not, so when you specify the costs for eBay checkout, you will have to pair fixed insurance costs when you use fixed shipping rates.
