I had approximately 1400 listings ended by eBay for containing the word "cash". I have tried editing them and resubmitting them through Vendio but keep getting the error message - that item number is no longer in eBay's database. I have tried copying the listings and submitting the copies, but I still get the error message. Any suggestions?
When the items come back in error, simply select all of the errored out items and resubmit them.
The next time around the system should attempt to send them through as new items Vs relists and go through without error. (don't re-select the original closed items, resubmit the failed ones with errors beside them.)
Assuming you have already removed the word cash from your default text, if that is where it was.
If you had it in your payment options area, let us know and we can run a patch to help remove it from all of your items for you, otherwise you would need to edit them one by one to make that change prior to relist.

Thanks, Chris. That didn't seem to work for most of them. I've tried to resubmit the errors and they came back with the same errors. All of the listings are imported, so I'm afraid I'll have to revise them all manually
Imported listings are a little harder to deal with in that scenario. It all depends if the items are failing because they are linked to the previous item number or if they are failing because of the word cash somewhere in the ad.
If they are failing because of the link to the previous item, the copied version should work.

Chris
