I decided to split my ebay items into to catagories so My wife is selling some under her ebay account. is there any way I can schedule some of me exsisting items to go up for auction on a different Ebay user ID than the one I have been using? Thanks.

Hello,

At this time it is only possible to have one eBay ID per Vendio account (we are planning on changing this -- I do not have a specific eta available currently). Please note that if you do decide to open a second Vendio account, in order to be sure that you have the same type of account as you have now, please follow these steps:

1. When first opening the new account only subscribe to the free Buyer Appreciation service. This can be done by clicking the "Get Started" button here:

http://www.vendio.com/services/buyer_appreciation.html

2. Once the account is open and only subscribed to the free Buyer Appreciation service, then select the service plans that you would like by going to "My Account" --> "My Service Plans".

Please let us know should you have any trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan

I already have two accounts but one has 600 of already created auctions and I need to get about 200 of them on the second Vendio account. Will I have to re-do all of them? I spent several weeks creating these and don't really have time to do it again. Am I out of luck? Thanks.

Hello,

I am not 100% sure if we will be able to do this. However, I have sent a request to our engineers and I will let you know once we hear back from them. In the meantime, please provide us with your second Vendio username. Also let us know which of the two Vendio accounts already contains the pending listings (and to which Vendio account they should be copied).

Regards,
Nathan

Thanks Nathan,
My other Vendio account is fsmiller. The one with all the pendings is paulvs and I want them transferred to the fsmiller account.

Hello,

The second account "fsmiller" is unfortunately a different type of account than your account "paulvs". It is not possible to transfer pending listings between these two different types of accounts.

While we might be able to transfer your pending listings from one account to another (I am still waiting to hear back from our engineers on this), it would need to be between two accounts of the same type. Specifically, you would need to open the second account following the steps that I provided earlier (and also select the Sales Manager Merchandising Edition for Sales Manager).

Regards,
Nathan

Wow, I womdered why the two accounts looked totally different. I would be willing to close and reopen a new accound or change it so this could be done.

Hello,

Great. It is probably best that we wait and make sure that we will be able to do this, before you close the "fsmiller" account and open a new one. I will let you know once we hear back from our engineers.

Nathan

Hello,

I have heard back from our engineers, and unfortunately it is not possible to copy the pending listings from one account to another.

We can copy inventory items from one account to another, however. If you can save the pending listings that need to be copied, as inventory items, then we can copy those inventory items to the new account. Please be aware that in Sales Manager Merchandising Edition there is a limit of four images per inventory item. If you would like to go this route, then the pending listings can be saved as inventory items by first clicking on the title of the pending listing. Then scroll down near the bottom of the page and check the box for "Save this item in my inventory". Then click the "Save" button.

Once the pending listings have been saved as inventory items, and the new account has been opened, we can ask our engineers to copy the inventory items from the one account to the other.

When you asked about what would happen to what is already on your account, do you mean the account "fsmiller"? Unfortunately, if you close this account then the information will no longer be available.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello Paul,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bulk save them to inventory. You will need to go into each of the pending listings in order to do this.

Nathan

Hello Paul,

That is correct. You will need to follow those steps to create inventory items out of the pending listings. Then open the new account (being sure to follow the steps that I provided previously to get the right type of account). Also let us know when you are ready to close the account "fsmiller". Once that is done we will ask our engineers to copy the inventory items for you.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan,
I moved all my pending items to inventory. Now I need them copied to the new fsmiller account. Should I open the new account first then let you know? Do I need to open it under a different username? If I use the name fsmiller should I close the old one first. I need to know the proper order/steps to do things. Thanks.

Hello Paul,

Yes, you will need to open the new account first. It will need to be under a different username. Please let us know the new username, and also if we should close the "fsmiller" account now.

Nathan

Go ahead and just open the new account with the free Buyer Appreciation service and let me know the account name. I will set the new account with the exact same service plans that you have on the account "paulvs".

Hello Paul,

I have set the new account "dotrixart" to the exact same service plans as your account "paulvs". I have also asked our engineers to copy the inventory items from the "paulvs" account to the "dotrixart", and I will let you know as soon as it has been completed.

Also, please let us know once you are ready to close the account "fsmiller".

Nathan,
Thanks. However now that I'm trying to link ebay to the new dotrixart account I'm getting this message:

The eBay information that you have entered was previously associated with another Vendio account, and we do not support using one eBay account across multiple Vendio accounts.
Please DO NOT register another Vendio account in an attempt to resolve this issue.

Instead, please contact Customer Service for assistance with moving the eBay ID from your previous account. Please include the eBay ID that you are attempting to enter to expedite support.

We will help you move the eBay ID from your previous account for you. Note that once we move the eBay ID, your previous Vendio account will no longer be able to perform eBay related tasks. You will be unable to list any scheduled items on the other Vendio account, and we will be unable to gather closing listings for post sale automation (WBNs will NOT be sent).

If you would like to use a different eBay ID with this account instead, click Use a Different eBay ID.

Hello Paul,

I have set your account "dotrixart" so that you can now enter the eBay ID that was stored in the now closed account "fsmiller".

Regards,
Nathan
