When I relist an old item it has the seller’s payment instructions from the last time it was listed. This says I accept money orders. Ebay will end that ad. So for the next several years will I have to remember to edit that section or can you make that a permanent change for us. I will go years without listing a specific item. Pick one up at an auction & use an old ad to relist it. I am sure most sellers will have this problem

Hello,
When the time comes not to allow money orders, we will automatically remove the checkbox from that field on the listing form for items sent to eBay.
As for the mentioning of the word 'money order' in your listing, the good news is that you have this stored in your Custom Listing Text page, so you can simply edit that prior to listing again since that is applied at the time you launch your items.
As you have noted however, you also mention money orders in the listing form field for eBay payment instructions and details, which can vary from item to item. While you can edit your default for this field, if eBay were to filter out listings that even mention the word 'money order' (in addition to no longer allowing it to be selected in the listing form) - those items would need to be edited during the relist process to either uncheck the box for displaying this field, or editing out the word money order.

So I will have to remember to edit that field every time I relist an old item. I may not use an ad for 5 years then come across the item to list. I foresee allot of auctions being ended.
