Hello Jack,

There is a tool that we can run that will apply your current global payment preferences to all of your pending listings. Please note that it would apply them to your pending listings that are not yet scheduled, as well as your scheduled listings.

Would you like us to do this now?

Regards,
Nathan

Is there any way to apply this to unsolds so we don't have to edit when relisting? Is it your understanding that when EBay goes live with this that the payment options listed in the ebay portion of the listing (at the bottom) will only show PayPal no matter what else we have checked? I have already removed paper payments from my default text and payment instructions.

Hello Neglus,

I haven't tested it yet on closed listings, but it should work. Would you like me to set your closed listings to the payment options that are currently entered into your Global Preferences?

My guess is that the eBay section of the listing will only show the allowed payment methods. But I don't know this for sure.

Nathan

Yes Nathan - If you can do it, that would be great. Thanks. It probably won't be necessary if eBay disables everything but PayPal, PRoPay etc. but just in case...

Hello Neglus,

I tried to run this on your account, but unfortunately you have too many closed listings stored in your account. (The tool that we use times out before it can complete.) If you don't need many of the closed listings that are in your account, and you are willing to archive them, then we would be happy to try running the tool again at that time.

Regards,
Nathan

Hi Nathan - how many is too many? Do the items stay in the archive folder in case I need them? I am a *little* (translate a lot) behind in moving items to my store plus I have a bunch of store items ended because of the word "cash" in description that I need to copy and relist in store when I get the time.

Hello,

38,000 is causing our workaround method of patching items on your behalf fail unfortunately. There is no specific number we've tried to shoot for, but if you could archive as many of the 38k that you won't need anymore we can try it again and let you know if that was enough or not.

Items archived can be restored back to the closed section within 14 days of being archived, otherwise they would no longer be available after that point to use again. (although basic data about the transaction would be downloadable.)

Chris

Oh you are looking at ALL closed items (sold and unsold)? I would just need it for the unsold items (post sale -> unsold). I just have 3500 of those. Is there a way to do that? I can start archiving some of my sold items but it takes awhile when I only can do 100 at a time and then it takes four steps: select, check archive, confirm archive and then "return". Any word on whether eBay will make the change global on their portion of the listing so this would not be necessary?

I just launched some relists without changing the payment options and it looks like eBay has eliminated the possibility of checks and money orders in their part of the listing.

I don't think I will need you to change all of my unsolds after all. THanks for checking.
