I just relisted several auctions ant he checkout button is in each of them. I don't want it in there! How do I get it out?? Also, where do I find the option that lets me opt out of this feature?? Since I never ordered it in the first place, I don't know how to get rid of it.

Edited to add: I DO NOT use the AW WBN feature.

I too am having this same problem! I do not want my customers to check out through AW! I do not use the WBN either. After noticing it in all the 150 FP auctions I listed today I went into Post Sales Management and clicked the button not to use the Preferred Checkout. So now what happens to the auctions already listed?
I do not want my customers to go through your checkout
Since I never signed up for this, why was it put in my auctions without my permission?
I do not want my customers to click every single auction through your checkout when 90% are multiple buyers. What a headache!
Up to now I have been very happy with AW, but I think this was a bad move on AW part.

Hi Beadkat...

Sure is frustrating. Bowtiefly had this problem also. He was not using the WBN feature and checkout started showing up in his auctions. I thought they had it fixed by now. I had to go through and manually edit the checkout html out of 9 auctions to get rid of that shopping cart. The big question now is, and this is directed to AuctionWatch, what happened and how do we make sure it doesn't happen again? It was enough work for me to edit 9 auctions, I could imagine it would be a monumental task for someone like Beadkat who is stuck with 150 of them.

Hello --

On a per-listing basis, you can choose not to include the AuctionWatch Checkout button by making sure that the "Include the AuctionWatch Checkout button in this listing" option is unchecked in your "Create Auction" or "Inventory Management" page.

To ensure that the AuctionWatch Checkout button option in these pages is not checked by default on an ongoing basis, please make sure that you have explicitly saved your Post-Sale Management Preferences settings with the "Include the AuctionWatch Checkout button in my listings by default" option unchecked. Also, if you do not use AuctionWatch WBNs, you can also use Post-Sale Management Preferences to make sure that the "Automatically send WBN when auction closes with a valid winner" option is also unchecked. The AuctionWatch Checkout button may have been included in listings if this Auto-WBN option was checked in your preferences at one point. The checkout button will still remain in any currently active listings where they were included.

Please note that any winning bidders who click on the AuctionWatch Checkout button in your listings will see a full list of all items they are purchasing from you in the first page of checkout (the Order Review screen), so buyers of multiple items do not have to click on multiple checkout buttons. Furthermore, all buyers will also see, at the top of this first page, a welcome message which you can customize as you need. This welcome message can be customized (and formatted using HTML tags) in Post-Sale Management Preferences, under "Checkout Process Welcome Message".

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with this new functionality.

Thanks for your continued support --

Hi Christina,
Thank you so much for the prompt and clear answer to my questions. I checked my post sale management preferences and the checkout option ( as well as the other selections) was not checked. I saved it anyway. This is the first time I have ever had occasion to click into that section. Maybe it was just a temporary glitch, but it sure caused a lot of work on my part to correct it. If it's any help, these 9 auctions were relists and each one had been edited with respect to title and description prior to scheduling. On the positive side, each one launched without a hitch which is a remarkable accomplishment on a free listing day which also happened to fall on a normally busy Thursday. Keep up the good work!!
