My BidPay button is still not showing up on my auctions. I want it to automatically appear. I do not want to have to add the html myself. However, on a relist the AW checkout button showed up even though I do not want it and have never chosen it! Ironic isn't it?

Hi Jane,

I have not heard anything new on the bidpay button issue at this time. Until there is a solution, the other thing you can do is put the HTML for the BidPay button in your default text box. This way you won't have to add it after the launch.

Checkout can be turned off in Post Sale Management Options. I would recommend going there and resaving your preferences to make sure it doesn't appear anymore in your listings.

Hi Sonya,
Checkoff in not selected, has never been selected and never will be selected. It just turns up like a bad penny.

Hi Jane,

Is this just recently showing up again? What are some of the item ID numbers where it is showing?

Regards,

Sonya

Hi again Sonya,
The button is only showing up when I relist closed items. I know that I have to look for it and turn it off so it is really not much of a problem. Just wish I could keep that option off and turn on the BidPay button.

HI Sonya,
I just happened to check one of my auctions, eBay #311339959 and the AW checkout was enabled. This is an auction that was in pending for a while before I launched it. I DID NOT select AW checkout. It just showed up all on its own. This is getting really irritating. I was unable to remove the checkout from the active auction so had to put a message in to any buyer not to use AW checkout. Really looks dumb and I am getting tired of all the nonsense with this.
