Hello. I'm trying to edit auctions to relist, but I keep getting this message when I try to save the changes: "AW Checkout requires at least one valid shipping option." What do I need to do to avoid getting this message?
I've recently changed payment plans to AW if that has anything to do with it.
If you get this message, it means that you have the auto WBN selected but you didn't choose a payment option. To stop this message you either need to pick a shipping carrier and price, or turn off the auto WBN. I hope this helps!
From the My Account tab, click on the Post Sale link found within. From here, you can turn the preferene for the automatic WBN off, then save the change.
In the listing itself, there is a box you can check to turn the automatic WBN off as well. You will need to use this one for items already created.

I am having the same problem I just checked my preferences and no, the wbn tab is not checked .It has never been checked. I had problems with checkout showing on auctions last week that was not checked in my preferences either. How does preferences keep getting changed when the user is not changing them ,And why if this is the problem when I check the preferences they are not checked. Is this going to affect scheduled auctios also/
. I need to know something soon.AW needs to check into these problems as they arise

I just went in and edited 5 more without any problems,Then it started again,If this is due to preferences then why is it just doing it on some items and not others? When the error appears it puts the changes back in pending then you can resubmit without problems ,I have had to do 4 or 5 this way.

Thanks for your quick answer, but when I checked the Post Sale link, nothing is checked. (I've never changed anything there since starting with AW sometime ago.) Again, does this have anything to do with my changing payment plans????

Hi there,
I just wanted to add to this thread. There have been a couple of scenarios in which Checkout was applied to auctions when it was not selected in preferences. This has since been corrected, but there may be some items that originally listed with Checkout enabled, which you are now relisting.
When you relist these items, you will need to de-select Checkout even though this option is not enabled in your preferences. Checkout now requires at least one shipping preference to be selected before you can list, so if you run into this error on relist, just deselect Checkout and you should be all set.

Thanks for replies. As I continued to run into this error, I realized it was only with all my relisted errors, so I'm "deselecting" checkout as I go through those. Hope everything goes on okay Sunday.
