Hi Auctionwatch
1) The Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT
2) We are The Customers
3) WITH SO MANY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE NEW MAKE an aution sistem , do you really think they are all wrong ,? or is it you that are wrong
4) let me explain you happens:
a)you load the page and choose the category
b) you wait for the other page to make the auction
c) you make the auction
d) the next item is a different category so you must reload 2 PAGES
for us that sells collectibles it is the tripple time consuming
IN THE PAST YOU JUST CLICKED BACK PAGE AND IN LESS THAN 1 SECOND YOU COULD START MAKING THE NEXT AUCTION
and freely choose the category
I probably change category for 90% of my items
and THEN if you decide to add a second category you must relaod AGAIN! Thats 4 times the time
PLEASE , AT LEAST GIVE US AN OPTION TO CONTINUE WITH THE OLD PAGE FOR US THAT WANT THIS , you could have 2 pages
thanks and I hope you can understand what I am saying
by the way :
do you have a person in your company making auctions so you can really know how is it like to be your customer?

I will forward your concerns to Product Development.
Technically, using the back button on your browser is not the correct way to continue listing your items. After you launch/schedule an auction, you can just click on the eBay link to your left and it takes you right back to the category selection page.
eBay has been requiring Attributes for many of their categories, and will continue to do this for the rest of the categories. The support for item specifics required us to enlarge the data in the category selector significantly. We have separated the category selector from the rest of the listing information to help in two ways:
1.) It allows us to present the correct Item Specifics fields to you directly within the listing form. Since eBay is planning to have widespread use of Item Specifics across their categories this year, having these fields within the listing form (instead of in a pop-up or on an additional page) will save our sellers time and effort creating eBay listings.
2.) It helps distribute the large amount of page data -- now the listing page itself can load much faster without the whole category tree. This is especially noticeable when you go to edit pending listings or re-lists.
For most users, the new listing process actually has the exact same number of clicks as the previous page flow. The process flow has changed, but the process contains the exact same number of page loads as before.

OK , then just add the space to put the specifics under the category , then when you choose the category if it does not contain specifics it Blocks , sounds logical to you?

NO! this is not true , every seller should do at least 2 pages now and if you choose to add a second category when making the auction that is 2 MORE!
PLEASE , AT LEAST GIVE US AN OPTION TO CONTINUE WITH THE OLD PAGE FOR US THAT WANT THIS , you could have 2 pages would cost you nothing!
