Hello,

We curently have over 600 inventory items in Vendio. We are now going to be shipping Internationally to increase our customer base. However I went in and changed my E-bay site changes in the "my account" section, and changed it to "International Shipping". When we launched an auction, the auction still reads "UNITED STATES SHIPPING ONLY"!! When I went i to edit the item in inventory, I went to the edit E-bay section for that particular item and it still read "UNITED STATES SHIPPING ONLY"! OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not tell us we have to MANUALLY change over 600 inventory items! What the heck would be the point of the E-bay site specific change page?? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello,

While global editing for existing items in inventory is on the list, it is not currently available. Changing preferences does just that, changes your defaults for when you create new items. Changing your preferences makes no changes to your existing items.
Those items will need to be edited individually.

Christopher

Christopher,

COME-ON!!!! You have got to be kidding me!!! I have to sit and edit over 600 inventory items?? Why have a page to make chages if it does not work??????? My goodness, this is going to take forever!! I have to go find a new Auction managing site. This is ridiculous.

Hello,

Perhaps we are not talking about the same thing. What page are you going to, to make changes to existing items that is not working correctly?

If you are talking about the preferences page, it was never supposed to make changes to existing items. If you wanted to make Baseball cards a default category because you list 70% of your items there, you certainly would not want to change your preferences to them and suddenly all of your inventory would be setup for baseball cards.

The preferences are simply for apply default settings to newly created items.

Christopher

I understand that. I want to make sure all my inventory items are set for International Shipping! As I understand it, when I make changes in the E-Bay site specifics page (from "My Account" tab), the shipping change only effects NEW listings! Why is it not affecting my inventory?

I over 5000 items in inventory and when the post office went up on postage I had to go in and change them all individually, manually. I never could find a global fix. Would be a good addition to the service, though.

Hello,

I will pass both of your feedback concerning a global inventory update feature along to product development. Unfortunately anything that is in eBay site specifics for your inventory has to be manually updated. Your default changes will not apply to inventory items as those have been saved "as is", which was the intention of the feature.

Regards,

Sonya
