I can not believe Vendio has not removed their tacky advertisement from our invoices as of yet. With the number of complaints that have been registered, you would think you would not want to offend your customers. I, like others, have been considering changing to a service that, for one, has a customer service department that will address the concerns of their customers. The only reason I have not, is because the change is very complicated and I am uncertain another company will be any better. Please prove me wrong!

Hello diveus,
To address your concerns over the inclusion of the Vendio logo on invoices, we are reducing the size of the Vendio promotion and moving it to the lower left hand corner of the packing slip.
Please understand that one of the ways we remain inexpensive is by relying on our sellers to help market our services. We have included our logo in listings, checkout and other areas for years - Adding our logo to the packing slip is an extension of this philosophy.

I do not agree with it and for what I have seen few others do either. Our invoices are for us to communicate with our customers. It is obviously your business decision, but we have to make business decisions as well and this is a factor myself and others will consider.

In my opinion, if Vendio's position holds true for marketing, I should also see a "Hammermill" paper advertisement, "Lexmark" ink advertisement, "Juno" ISP advertisement and "Hewlett Packard" computer advertisement on my invoices as well. These companies are involved in the creation of the invoice too. Sounds a little cluttered and tacky? Yes.
I am in the process of changing auction services. They may be no better in the long run, but I work from trust. When I trust, I feel at ease, and when I'm at ease, I tend to be more profitable. JMHO.

When they moved the logo that ruined my work-around (ie., just selecting the text of the invoice and not the logo and printing that on my professional invoicing stationery). Now, I have too do it all by hand in Word. Therefore, one of the things I am paying for I am not using. Perhaps VD will quickly realize that my paltry customers are not potential VD users and remove the tacky thing.

The invoice is the property of the seller to the buyer. VD is not selling the merchandise. We use VD as a selling tool, not to advertise anything to our buyers. I know VD/AW has USED their customers as a marketing tool since it started. On every listing AW/VD has imprinted it's name. BUT, unless the customer is satisfied, the customer will move on to another ervice, even if it costs more. As a company, in this day and age, VD should try to listen to the customer's wants/needs, not put their marketing ideals first. Unless you take care of the customer and make them feel #1, they will find other sources, to meet their needs. This is not Rocket Scientists Work---Common Sense.

If you think about it, this logo IS NOT SEEN BY NEW people. The seller is already using Vendio and the buyer has seen it in the auction. No else is seeing the invoice, NO NEW CUSTOMERS!

Rather than go on a rant suffice it to say I too am in the process of looking for an alternative over this issue. It is obvious that many of VD's clients are upset over this policy, the inflexibility and lack of sensitivity on the part of VD concerning this issue.

It seems that the attempt to attract new users to Vendio is doing just the opposite. I too am not happy about their logo being on my invoices. I have also commented on the size of their logo in the storefront.

While I can appreciate that Vendio wants to attract more customers, it's always been sound practice to keep the ones you have happy!
