I have used AW for imagehosting and now want to use SM to list. My AW name and ebay name are different. It has never been a problem. However, when trying to put the ebay info into SM, I get an error message that it is NOT synched, so I check online and see I have no auction id stored. So I try to add my ebay id and am told "another vendio user is using it". Uh, yeah, me! I haven't listed in a while, but where did my info go? I have continued to recieve invoices (I have a 10 cent balance due or something and they don't bill under a dollar), so I'm still in there somewhere.
I've done the clearing cache, restarting, deleting cookies, signing on from vendio, etc...
TIA

(I now realise this should be down one forum, sorry)

Hi Mrskenney,

In order to list items (using our online or offline tools) you must first register with individual auction sites and services. Please click the following URL https://secure.vendio.com/ureg/ in order to go to the registration page.

Please note that, although the username may be different, they must be unique for different users. If you received "another vendio user is using it" error message this means that:
- the eBay username you is misspeled or
- you are trying to use an username already used by another Vendio username.
Note that even if you are the 'other' Vendio user you cannot share the same eBay username between several Vendio accounts. In such a case you must log in as the other user, delete the eBay user ID from that user, then contact help-desk in order to add this username to the new Vendio account.

Good morning Marius,
I'm going to quote from your post, OK? It'll help me keep things straight

>>In order to list items (using our online or offline tools) you must first register with individual auction sites and services<<
I have been registered as a seller for 4 years with only one user id and successfully used AW imagehosting. My ebay id has been the only one ever associated with my AW id (unless I tried it with yahoo, but i don't think so). I also have only ever had this one AW id.

>>Note that even if you are the 'other' Vendio user you cannot share the same eBay username between several Vendio accounts. In such a case you must log in as the other user, delete the eBay user ID from that user, then contact help-desk in order to add this username to the new Vendio account<<

I only have 1 vendio account - mrskenney. I used it to do image hosting with my ebay name - spineguy. When I log in here as mrskenney, I show no stored ids. I cannot delete what is not there
I want my mrskenney id to be associated with my ebay name and really don't know why it's not, unless the vendio/aw name has to match the ebay name.
So I need to contact CS to have that added?

Good morning Mrskenney,

according to our databases, another Vendio user has registered "spineguy" as hers/his eBay username.
If you recall that you used this eBay username under another Vendio account? An account for which you have deleted the eBay username some 2 years ago?
I will have to ask you to contact help-desk for this matter.

Hi Marius,
I have no idea what is going on, but as of last October (last time I listed), everything was hunky-dory. I would log in here as mrskenney and attach photos to my spineguy auctions.
I contacted support, per your link and hopefully they can straighten this out.
Thanks!
