On item #3016800762 the person checkout but was not charged the accurate total. For some reason the system charged him $3.00 less. I emailed the customer and asked that he send $3.00 more. Is there a problem with the checkout system? I am worried about my other auctions because I do use the WBN system, but if the totals are going to be wrong, I will stop using it. My cache has been cleared and I have rebooted my system.

Hello,

That is a bit strange, did this buyer pay you before finishing the checkout?

Regards,

Sonya

No, he went thru the VD checkout. This is the first time this has ever happened, but do want you to check on your end, to ensure everything is working properly and hopefully it will not happen again. He was nice and understanding about the situation, but it was more work for me and I do not like to keep pestering my customers for more money. Thank you for your fast response.

Hi All! Saw this post & it really hit home. I've just begun using the Vendio check-out & it's been a nightmare....wrong amounts. I was at fault at 1st, forgetting to check the right boxes for "mark-up" & insurance. When I saw what was happening with the 1st few auctions that incorporated the check-out feature, I went back to Global Site specifics & rectified the problem. Or so I thought. It kept happening with every auction! I rechecked my set-up, but to no avail. I also wrote to Vendio HELP regarding this, & they seem to think I'm nuts. Well, aside from the fact that I AM (LOL), they were of no help. So as soon as my current auctions end, I'm dumping the Checkout feature. I was hoping it would make my transactions faster & smoother & save me precious time, but so far it's been more work than before! Is this happening to others too? Better check your stats & figures....Anna

Hi Anna,

I am glad to see you got my note about your not checking those insurance and markup boxes. I have to say, I do not remember saying I thought you were nuts.

Once this change has been made, it will correct any new items you list. Unfortunately, that will only correct this issue for items you list anew since making the change.

Editing your preferences will not correct the items you already launched when you had those markup and insurance boxes unchecked.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this issue.

Regards,
Christopher

Christopher! Geez, that was quick. Well, I thought that YOU thought I was crazy in regards to clicking the right boxes. I sent you an email in response to YOUR response, explaining that for the most recent auctions, I'm not charging a mark-up or insurance as they (vintage photographs) will be sent 1st Class. I went back to Global Site specifics & UNCHECKED those boxes (well after the auctions I wanted mark-up & insurance fro were launched) to accomodate for this. I've experienced other problems too, as mentioned in my RTYR (Response To Your Response...Gawd, this is getting confusing!). However, they may have been connected with the recent Vendio BURP!
