I was wondering if there is any progress involving people who's user name and email address are the same accessing the check-out button that appears at the end of the auction. They continue NOT to be able to use that function. What is the problem and why can't it be resolved?

Hi toyspast,
To prevent the wrong people from checking out, we have implemented an extra step some time ago for users who have their email address as their eBay ID. When they go to checkout, a message will come up informing them that they cannot checkout through the auction, and that a WBN has been sent to them with checkout information. This ensures that the right person is checking out of the auction since only the owner of that eBay ID will be receiving the email with checkout instructions.
