Hello,

The email address you have stored in global preferences is your Hotmail address. If your customers paid you through checkout then it would have been that address, unless you recently changed it back to hotmail. Did you get payment notifications from paypal, informing you a payment was made?

Sonya

Hello,

Which email address did they use to pay you -- was it Hotmail or was it Mailstep? I am confused, you say it is in PayPal, can you not claim the money?

Sonya

They used the one I had up when I started using the new mailstep feature. That one was [email protected]. I channged it now to my regular account and deleted the email at PayPal. However I don't know what to do with the two auctions that are pending and waiting for me to claim money. VENDIO HAS NOT ACKNOWLEGED MY EMAILS!!!!

Hello,

If they paid through mailstep and you removed it from PayPal, the only way to claim the monies is if you add the mailstep email back to PayPal. Once you do that and you verify it (should go to your hotmail since that is your default email) the money will deposit to your PayPal account.

Sonya

Hi again. That is the way I had it and I can't verify it because I am not getting the verification email. The one that I need so PayPal could verify the address. I am supposed to get an email at [email protected] from PayPal, right. So where is it? LOL I never got it.
I hope this isn't too confusing but I am having a hard time trying to explain this situation.

One more question? How do I verify it? If I don't get an email from MAILSTEP?

Help again it doesn't go to my Hotmail account or any of my email accounts.

Hello,

It should go to the primary email address that you have on file (check your bulk and junk mail folders in Hotmail to see if it got filed elsewhere). You might want to go through the verification for that email since it looks like you didn't verify it. This can be done through My Account > Personal Information. Once you do that, try adding Mailstep to your PayPal again and let us know if the verification from PayPal comes through.

Hi this is all I got now it still is not confirming it?

You have added [email protected] as a new email address for your
PayPal account.

If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with
your account, please contact PayPal customer service at:

This is what I got when I went to claim my money. This is not going to my Hotmail account at all....

The payments below were sent to your unconfirmed email address(es). You must confirm your email address before you may accept any payments sent to that address.

To confirm the email address(es) below, click the "Send email confirmation" link and follow the instructions on the following page. Once you confirm an email address, all payments sent to that address will be credited to your PayPal account and will appear in your "Recent Activity" log.

Now I need the confirmation number to be able to confirm the email address but to no avail. I have been almost all day with this issue. I think this is terrible.

Hello,

I would recommend asking PayPal to send you the confirmation again to your Mailstep address. If they send it to you and you still don't get it, let us know -- I have checked for similar issues and have not found any so hopefully getting them to re-send you the confirmation will take care of this problem.

Sonya

Hi Mary,

Do you have your email filters up high on your hotmail account? Try checking your junk mail folders and see if it is there, if not, let us know so we can escalate this since we have tried everything so far.

Regards,

Sonya

Mary: I had the same problem. Kept trying and trying to send a confirm email to the mailstep address. Finally about 3 or 4 hours later, I got six emails from paypal via the @mailstep address. I think there is some delay at Vendio as test emails from other sources are coming through promptly. So, hopefully yours will come soon.

Hi It is now 34 hours since I was sent the payment and I am still waiting to receive it so that I can send package. I wrote to my customer to send it via my regular email address but they haven't responded. I am in a horrible limbo.....don't know what to do but I am exhausted of things to do so far. I have no choice now but wait until the problem is fixed. Please let me know.
Thanks
Mary

It has been pointed out to me that this thread concerns an issue I raised in another thread. When will this be fixed?

It has been 2 days since I mentioned this. When will this issue be addressed? What is the status of this problem? When will this be fixed? What is being done?
