I cannot "enlarge" pics when viewing through "preview" when typing up an auction.
Is this due to rolling out the new templates? It worked as up to two days ago.
I need to enlarge a pic within the preview to copy the properties to place within my auction (the remainder stay "downsized" for the to be "enlarged" )
Otherwise it requires me to go into 18 pages of images to find. VERY time consuming.
I am able to see the 'click to enlarge' function on full preview and eBay preview. Are you sure that your images are over 250 pixels wide? If not, the function will not be triggered.
If so, please provide the title for an item so we can take a look.
I have already gone ~the long way around~ and gotten the properties of my pic. I went to that specific launched auction and, yes, it triggered the "click to enlarge" function.
As a matter of fact, in my almost 3yrs. (?) of auctionwatch/vendio, I have never had a pic that wasn't large enough to trigger that function... lol.
Anyways, that is reiterating my point. When typing a listing and clicking on (what as of today is now being called) "full preview"...you cannot actually enlarge pictures.
As I stated. This is very important to me. If you care to check some of my launched auctions tonite, you will see that I re-size a pic to usually about 300x400 to place inside my listing that doesn't require enlargement.
Please let me know if you require more info.
Regards,
I see now - you can see that 'click to enlarge' will appear in the auction itself but you can't actually click the image in the preview.
This is due to the new template format, and unfortunately there is a reason why it's designed that way.
I believe if you use the eBay Preview function, you will be able to click to enlarge. You should also be able to take one URL and use that as a basis for all of your images (just change the image filename at the end of the URL.) Just keep the URL in a document and copy/paste it as you need - all you will need to do is insert the image filename at the end.
