I thought there was a setting somewhere, that would allow the buyer to change the shipping cost in PayPal?

When my buyers go through checkout, and choose PayPal, once they are in PayPal, the payment amount is not able to be changed.

Some of my items do not allow for shipping discounts and the payment amount needs to be able to be "un-discounted" by these purchasers.

Hi Gousainc,

Unfortunately, we do not have a setting that allows buyers to change the shipping price. If you need to change something, it is best for you to do it then notify the buyer via WBN to go through your checkout so that they have the correct totals.

YOU SAID: notify the buyer via WBN to go through your checkout so that they have the correct totals

They go through my checkout and DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT TOTALS.

My WBN is correct for one item, but not for the discount IF they happen to purchase multiple items.

The reason they need to adjust the total AT PAYPAL is because they go through the Vendio checkout.

I have a set discount for multiple purchases, but some of my FULL CASE items, or OTHER HEAVY ITEMS can not be combined for discounts.

They purchase multiple items. They go through checkout (as you suggested) and it combines for a discount and sends them to PAYPAL.

Once at PAYPAL the payment amount CAN NOT be adjusted, and all they can pay for is the discounted amount.

I am not sure if you do not understand the problem, as the solution is not a possibility as far as I can see.

I was needing to know if there was a setting, that "Once They Are Sent To PAYPAL they have an option to change the price. Currently the way it is set up for my customers, they have a static amount they can pay, or not pay anything.

I am not asking if the checkout can be changed. I know it can not.

If a person goes to PayPal on their own, they can put whatever amounts they want. When transferred by checkout with my current settings, they can not change anything at PayPal.

Respectfully,

Mike

Hello,

The way it is set up now, when the buyer clicks on the PayPal link at the end of checkout they are taken to a payment page on PayPal, where they are supposed to enter in the total for the item that they got from going through checkout. When I went to your buyer checkouts in your account and clicked the link, I too was prompted to enter the total. After your buyers do that and they log in, are they getting blocked somehow?

If you have a working example of this problem please let us know the item ID number.

Regards,

Sonya
