I would like to have a central thread to explore features that should exist or features that do exist and are hard to find. It will help me not waste time looking for them and it will help Vendio add new features.

Here goes:

Okay, this seems like it is an obvious oversight by either myself trying to find features or by Vendio creating features, but where is the capability to add a UPS shipping calculator? I seem to have found a USPS calculator to add to auctions, but not UPS.

After an auction is over, I can credit payments if somebody got a post-sale discount, but I can't do anything to tack on fees after the sale. If I put in incorrect shipping or if I have to put in a shipping amount different than I expected because an international bidder purchased the item, I need to be able to give a "negative credit" or a "fee" in my post sales page.

I'll be back. Let me know if you have the answers to this or if you have other problems that I could fix in exchange for you fixing mine. Or, just let me know if somebody already started this thread and I'll toss mine in there.

Thanks.

Okay, another item I can't seem to find is eBay fees information. I would like to have the fees for each item associated with that item. Is it kept anywhere that is escaping me or is that not a feature?

Thanks

Hello,

We typically try to point users to the feedback forum to post suggestions, which would help keep them all in one location - however most do not use this forum and they end up scattered all around the different product specific threads instead.

We simply take them from here and log them on our end, so they will still be seen and evaluated, however other users may not see it and have the opportunity to add their comments to it unfortunately.

As for the UPS calculator, we are only setup with USPS to calculate shipping totals at this time actually, so UPS amounts would need to be entered at fixed rates. We do hope to offer more calculated carriers in the future.

As for adding to the cost of the item, you are correct about only having a credit option. You would need to uncheck step one in the post sale tools, then manually adjust what was originally entered so the buyer can select from the adjusted totals during checkout.

As a side note, you can also change the WBN options including costs while active by using the Active link along the left hand side of the Sales Manager tab. You then select the item in question and click on the Set WBN button.

The eBay fees are only listed once, in the eBay preview window at the top of the page. Just when your ready to list, use the eBay preview first, as this will both show you exactly what your item will look like once active, as well as show you your ebay costs.

Regards,
Christopher

Again, I'm very impressed at the attention paid to these forums by the administration.

For my accounting purposes, I would like to have the amount that I am charged by eBay, Paypal, and my shipping carrier associated with each item, so I don't have to spend time gathering this information from each source.

Thanks,

Daniel

Image organization.

Nobody wants to look through hundreds of pictures for the five pictures they just uploaded for a new auction listing.

I'm open to other's opinions on how to do this, but how about just asking for a folder name when we go to upload images from Sales Manager Add all the newly uploaded images to the folder that we just created.

That would make it easier to list items.

Image rotation. 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Bulk upload. Rather than having to select each individual image, just select a list of them from the file dialog to upload.

Thanks.

This thread has become my own personal suggestion thread, but I was hoping others would get in on the thread with their own suggestions so there is one thread for people to see all the suggestions that have been made and finding out if something actually exists before getting too frustrated about trying to find it.

Please read this as constructive criticism, not dissatisfaction.

Okay, here's an easy one.

There's an option in the eBay specifics to set the image in the upper left hand corner of the listing. I generally choose to have the image be the same as the first image on the listing.

How about adding the option to make that image be the same as the image we selected for the gallery?

Thanks.

I was saving mine until I felt I completely understood everything and had it fleshed out better, but here's my list so far. They're in no particular order of importance:

Search listings (in any view) by Title, Item #, SKU, Bidder's User ID and shipping info.

Easier way to copy Inventory Items (changing SKU would create new entry)

Vendor field in Inventory

Edit Inventory Count and prices in bulk

Separate field for eBay Stores price

Inventory count sheet

More dynamic listing tools: macros for payment, TOS, shipping

Description HTML preview from inventory field

Repetitive launch interactive with relist to avoid double listing.

An "Always keep listed" feature.

2nd chance utility (when eBay makes API available)

Email macros for buyer's 1st name and address.

Way to filter steps 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 1 and 2.

Make SKU available in Active and Post Sale

NPB and FVFC for Fixed Price

Better multiple qty fixed price email macros (Quantity and Shipping)

Support for "each additional item" shipping.

CC's of all messages sent through Sales Manager Post Sale.

Record of WBN Reminders in WBN Log

View key bar in all views.

Sort by step checked.
