Hi,

I really need to include shipping amounts in my WBN, but I'm struggling with how to present the information so that buyers of fixed price items in multipe quantity are not led to believe the wrong shipping amount. It's also confusing that there's no way to show quantity, although the amount does reflect the quantity.

Any help appreciated.

Hello,

You can use Shipping Discounts and then inform your buyers in your listings that you have a shipping discount that gets applied for multiple wins. The quantity should be stated on the checkout pages and also on the invoice. Where is it not showing the quantity for you?

Hi Sonya,

There is no Qty displayed in the WBN. I have not been able to come up with clear language to describe how shipping for multiple quantity is calculated in the WBN that won't also confuse buyers of single items or auctions that are "lots".

I can not count on most buyers using Vendio checkout, and also can not assume they will read shipping terms in the description.

Hi Ferretbee,

You can edit the WBN prior to sending it to indicate your quantity. In your descriptions, you can write that you offer a 75% shipping discount (which is what it says in your Global Preferences) on multiple purchases. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Regards,

Sonya

Buy multiple items and save 75% on the fixed (non-calculated) shipping/ handling costs of qualified additional items, if you go through my Secure Vendio Checkout.

** I can not mix mail types for discounts, such as Media Mail and Priority Mail. For multiple items of same shipping class, my checkout takes 75% off the fixed shipping/handling of all items except the one with the highest shipping cost.

If there are any questions about combining items that have different mail types listed, or you are unsure, please ask about combining shipping costs before bidding.

It is possible my checkout procedure will sometimes apply a regular combined shipping discount to items that are not eligible, or calculate it incorrectly. In this case, buyer is responsible for the correct shipping costs as detailed in the items listing.

Hi Sonya,

Thank you for response, but that's not the point. eBay buyers do not like 3rd party checkouts. No matter what you do , you'll never get 100% of buyers to use one, and the stronger the language used that a checkout is mandatory, the more buyers you'll scare off. I understand that WBN's can be edited, however that requires Auto WBN to be turned off and increases my workload.

Hi gousainc,

I really appreciate your information, and congratulations on your excellent feedback. Since my ad style is very different from yours, I'm looking for a simpler solution, and complete payment instructions in WBN.
