Can I use the customizable sections of the new templates to set up two different "styles" of sales (by the same seller), with two separate shipping costs and terms, two separate terms of service re returns, and so forth? How would this affect my setting up winning bidder notifications, etc? Can you outline how one would go about doing this?

Hello,

You can use the custom sections that way -- you would just need to check the one you want for the auctions you are listing at that time, and deselect the one you don't want. Set up your shipping for those items and the WBNs for those items -- they will launch with those settings. Then when you move on to your next set of auctions (that use the other custom listing text you set up), just repeat this process. Basically, as long as you launch your auctions with the settings you want for them, they will stay with those listings and apply when they close.

So I can't set up two separate templates with different shipping terms and different WBNs?
Can I do this with Profiles?

Hello,

You can create inventory profiles and apply them to the listing it applies to. My response to you was under the impression you wanted to use the Custom Listing Text boxes. Is that what you wanted to do or did you just want to write stuff out in your descriptions? Please let me know. The WBNs can be edited individually for active listings, or you can edit the default and launch a group of auctions under that default.

Which would be the most efficient way for large numbers of auctions? Using profiles with SM Pro or setting up custom templates, or a combination of both?

Hello,

Do you use Pro or do you use Sales Manager? It is probably easier to use profiles since the custom listing boxes are a default setting, so you'd constantly have to change your default. Profiles seem to be the easier way in your case.
