Vendio needs to give us a way to see Payments coming in to our PayPal account that they were unable to provide a matching item for in Post Sale.

Of course this could be an option, but should be available.

I would also include Pending E-check payments, as they never show up as paid in an auction either.

The PayPal payments that can not match to an item, may be something that can not be totally fixed. I had a guy get my email address and only put the item number in the notes. Unless I go into each PayPal payment and look, I would not have known he paid for his item.

If I had a list of payments that did not match, I could have had easily found what the "non-matching" payment was for.

Anyone else think this would help them?

Hello,

You have the IPN activated right? Unfortunately only E-checks that clear will be recorded in post sale. Pending E-checks will not show up.

Was your buyer's email address for PayPal different from his eBay email address? Also was this an auction, or was it a store item or FP item? Please let us know, and give us the item ID number.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have never had an e-check show as paid in Post Sale once it has cleared.

I have always made mental note that payment was pending e-check and processed manually after it cleared.

I do have IPN activated, and have not had a echeck since that time.

My experience is from the Accelerated and Automated Post Sale Management prior to this change.

If a change has been made to record cleared e-checks I say Bravo To Vendio!

Hello,

The IPN does allow for the recording of cleared e-checks. If you get one now, since you've got the IPN on, it will show as a credit on the listing after it clears.

I've had several paypal payments that were not posted. I checked the paypal emails to confirm that they were indeed sent to the mailstep address and that they were in the standard format.

Regarding cleared echecks, I've never had those post, though I seldom get echeck payments.

I'm very concerned about the regular payments not getting posted. It seems like about half the payments from 10/12-13 did not post, though some did.

Hello,

Do you have the IPN enabled? You will need to enable it to ensure you get your payments to record automatically.

You can follow the directions for enabling the IPN here:
