I have unchecked the automatic "payment received" notification, yet it keps sending it and it causes BIG problems. Please let me know how to turn it off. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

When did you uncheck the preference? Are you sure that the customers who are reporting this received them *after* the preference was unchecked?

Yes, I have unchecked it. As soon as I noticed it was sending automatically i unchecked it. This was about 2 weeks sgo. I noticed it was doing it again today and went in to uncheck it and it was not checked, the box was blank.

Hello,

Do you have any copies of the payment received notification? You have it disabled in Vendio so it wouldn't be coming from Vendio. We suspect it's coming from PayPal but we are not sure -- if you have any examples let us know.

I too just was made aware that something odd has happened to my "Shipping Notfication" message!
Months ago, I edited ALL the PSM messages that refer to payment being received and shipment status, & saved those preferences. Everything seemed to be fine for awhile.

Then today I get an email from a customer saying she was concernd her item hasn't arrived yet & she included a copy of the notice she had received from me & it was the Vendio default message stating that payment was received & item was shipped that same day! Which is completely different than the info my edited notice says, which is shipping occurs 7-14 days after payment!!! I would never have known this default message was going out if she hadn't emailed me!

I went in to PSM Options & sure enough, there was the default message in the message box! I know I saved the edits since I haven't been in there for MONTHS since I last edited it & I have had several occasions since then where customers used the notice as a "Reply To" when emailing me with a question, & the notice had my edited message so I know it was functioning properly for awhile.

Can someone please look into this glitch & make sure it doesn't happen again? I have no way of knowing now, who the default notice went to & who my edited message went out to & expect to have quite a few irate customers expecting deliveries that aren't even going our for another week!
