hi

i was always able to access under the closed auctions tab- auctions that i sent to "archive " until just today when i noticed that they were gone...did you change something and why?

I was always able to click on "archived auctions" and was able import them back into closed ...what happened?

where do i find my archived auctions?

i tried to go to sales archive but could not get to download since i don't have the program that it stated

thanks for help

Hi Stacyp,

The downloaded archive can be opened in any spreadsheet program -- Excel being the most common. Only items that have been archived within the past couple of weeks can be restored.

Have you tried to download and open the archive?

i don't know excel and thus don't have it on my computer

why did you change this and no announcement ?

that is a great feature and sure others once they notice it is gone will agree!

can it be put back the way it was?

i would archive my auctions out of the closed area ( i do 200 auctions per week and did not want to keep them in closed.. i don't use the other features of vendioi like the numbers for feedback, reminders etc.. easier to go to ebay and type in number for only those i need to do)

only if i had a non payer or found a duplicate item to list ...i would be able to "restore!" easily and redo the auction!

Hello,

We didn't change it recently -- for a while, it has been that you can only restore recently archived auctions. We recommend you save items you create to your inventory so that you have a record of it on file, should you need to relist the auction again.

Sonya

you ABSOLUTELY CHANGED something

i was in the archived area just last week restoring auctions from the past month that were non payers!

PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS

SAVING BATCHES OF 200 AUCTIONS PER WEEK - WHICH ARE ONE TIME ITEMS - IS RIDICULOUS FOR THE FEW THAT ARE NON PAYERS OR THAT I GET A DUPLICATE ITEM ON

Hello,

How old are these items that you are trying to restore? What are the ID numbers? We did not change anything regarding the way that the archive works. It has been like that for months. If they are not that old and the data is still existing on eBay, you could probably track them back in using 'Track Other Listings'.

that is not the answer - you don't understand what i am asking for

you DID change something !!!

(i am referring to auctions that are new- they would have just closed last week )

*** when i would go into the "closed" section of sales manager on the same line where it says "Closed Listings " it said as of just last week- " archived auctions "

i could click on that and pages would show up going back dates for weeks and weeks and i could click back on page numbers to find an auction that i archived and then i would hit "RESTORE" and that auction would go back into my " closed " section

i could find it via its number on ebay.. but that is not the answer- then i have to cut and paste the auction and find the correct picture etc and timely... the other way was a second to find it and another second to launch it again

ask your engineering dept- they did make the archive auction and restore buttons disapper in to thin air
