just hangs forever. Wasted so much time already. Do we know what is wrong? Is your server down?

Hi there,

There are no current image hosting problems so the problem is most likely a connectivity issue. We would recommend clearing your browser cache, restarting your browser, trying an alternate dialup number if you have one in your area. If that does not help, can you tell us if you have added anything to your system recently, such as a firewall or virus-checker?

Thanks,

Diana

Hi! Today was my first time using Vendio. I really like it BUT.....no problem with the first item I listed....all the photos showed up...very smooth, no glitches. The next listing.....no photos showed up even though the preview page showed them. I did attach them using the procedure for attaching images to existing auction but it looked awful because there was text and then the pictures were way down at the end. Not the template I chose and wanted. I spent a few hours trying to tweak the html in the edit feature at ebay, but only made things worse, so i cancelled that auction.
I started again and noticed a problem (which did not happen on my first listing).....after
previewing the auction and going back to tweak it, the photos disappear......even if you
follow all the procedures for attaching the images, once you go to preview and back, images are gone. I re-'attached' the images and then launched it without going to the preview page and it worked okay.
Another problem was that this one listing showed up four times in the pending....even tho i never hit a launch or save. The one time i did hit save (not knowing that I couldn't do any more 'work' on that auction once I saved it), it showed up four times in pending, so i had to delete all but one.
Anyway, don't get me wrong.....vendio has some great tools and i will definitely stick with it, but there is definitely some kind of glitch between the preview page and the editing page regarding images.
Thanks!(whew!!)

happy4123,

Are you using AOL to upload your images, or a different ISP? Can you tell us how many image you are trying to upload and the image sizes? Also, please try emailing a couple of the images to [email protected].

paxveritas,

The problem you are describing seems to be related to using the "back" button during the create listing process. This can result in duplicates and also result in 'detaching' preview images. I would recommend always using the control buttons at the bottom of the page in order to avoid this problem.

Note that you must click the "Attach Image" button after the image appears in the preview panel - if you don't take this step the images will not attach to the listing.

Thanks,

Diana

Diana
Thanks!<p>After doing some more research
it did occur to me that hitting the back buttom might be the problem. Thank you very much for clarifying that for me!

Diana, I don't use AOL. I connect to Vendio through Internet Explorer. AS for all you suggested, I've been using your service for a long time now. I don't do anything different. The sizes are fine. I tried doing one at a time just to see and one did attach and then the rest didn't. I really think it's something on your end. sorry, don't know what else you'd need to know.

Anyone else having this problem? Vendio, I still can not upload. It hangs. I've tried what you've said but nothing has changed since I've last used Vendio which is every week. any suggestions? I'd really like to get my auctions listed tonight the latest.

thank you, Brigitte

I have a cable modem. The images are not uploading to your site. I have not changed anything. The upload spped is very slow. I have tried with one or with 10. Our problems started yesterday. Please check your modems at Vendio for upload speed.
Please reply.

Hello everyone,

Please send one of your images to [email protected] and we will upload them to your accounts from our end. Make sure you are sending one that hasn't already been uploaded to your Vendio account.

Regards,

Sonya

Hello all,

We have made a small change to the system that might help with the image uploading problems you are having. Please try again, and let us know if you are still unable to upload your images.

Thanks,

Diana
