Hello
I was editing my WBN and deleted the link that takes them to check out. I don't know where to get it. Please hurry!

Hello,

The links are generated based on the item number -- if you deleted it while editing it, you can use this one instead:

http://www.vendio.com/checkout.x

When your customer fills in the information on that page it will take them to the checkout for their item.

Sonya

I really don't like the link you sent me. People have to enter their auction#, email address and more! They are already unhappy at the extra steps they take.
Why can't you give me the link that was there before. Just give me the default link I really need that one ONLY>

Hello,

What is the item number? I am not certain I can retrieve the original WBN link if you deleted it already, however I will do my best to get it back for you.

Sonya

I suppose I haven't explained myself. I mean the link that is in EVERY WBN, the default link. Not one that is exclusive to one auctio in particular. You can find it normally in:
My Account>
Post Sale Management Options>
Winning Bidder Notification
Here is the link at the end.

Hello,

The link that takes the winner to checkout at the end of the WBN is different for every auction. It incorporates the item number of the auction so there is no one singular default link -- unless you're referring to something different. How did you delete this -- editing one auction? Did you edit several and remove the checkout link from all of those auctions? Do you have the item numbers?

Sonya

OK let me try this once more. I DID NOT delete it from a single auction, nor did I delete it from several auctions. I deleted the link that is in the DEFAULT WBN. You normally can edit these notifications, as I edited mine I erased the link that appears on the bottom of these notifications sent to customers at the end of the auction. This is where I deleted it from:

MY ACCOUNT>
POST SALE MANAGEMENT OPTIONS>
DEFAULT POST SALE MANAGEMENT MESSAGES>
WINNING BIDDER NOTIFICATION EMAIL
(here is where at the end of this editable text I deleted the link)

Please tell me you understand what I mean now!

Hello,

I understand what you mean. There is no default WBN link. It never appeared at the end of the WBN message. It is automatically generated for each individual auction so the only way you could delete it is if you were editing the WBN for a specific auction that was either active or closed (or if you deselected the option in Post Sale Management Options to include the link to checkout in your WBN). That section in Post Sale Management Options never had that link appear at the bottom.

Originally, I had thought that you had deleted it from a single auction which is why I gave you the static checkout link. If you go to any of your closed items and preview the WBN, you'll see the link. It sounds like you didn't know that it was automatically generated for each auction so when you edited your text in the WBN message box you thought you might have deleted it.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi charlotts

I thought I knew exactly what you were talking about so I went and checked my WBN text. I couldn't find the link but I do remember that at one time it was there as a default WBN message.

I think you can build your own link for checkout by using the following:

Please click on the checkout button in the yellow banner at %%Site%%.

I believe the %%Site%% is a link to the auction they won.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

The %%SITE%% macro will insert the name of the site the item had been launched to in that location, not link to the ad. There are no macros that serve as hyperlinks once live.

Christopher
