Within minutes of getting this e-mail:

Debbie:
Just wanted you to know that all the stuff I had to go through to pay for my
ornament will keep me from shopping with you again on eBay.
Tammy

I had a customer buy something with BIN. He e-mailed for an invoice, which I sent from eBay. 15 minutes later the item showed up in the closed auctions. In the meantime, this guy can't pay because he's getting an invalid e-mail error.

Thats 2 in a row, that are ticked off because my system is making it difficult to pay. Can't you guys do something to fix this?

And I am not talking about the 30 minute wait before the WBN is sent out. This is a 15 minute wait before the sale makes it to Vendio. That's a total of 45 minutes. Which is way too long.

Thanks
Debbie

Hello,

Were these FP, dutch, or regular listings? FP and dutch items might take longer than regular listings as they need to 'split' themselves from the original parent auction. If they were regular auctions were they Buy It Now? The same thing can happen with Buy It Now items -- if you have the item numbers available, please let us know what they are.

Regards,

Sonya

All the auctions are a combination of all types. Some are FP, some are regular auctions with BIN and some were the BIN they just placed a bid on.

Here is one that I just got: Item # 3686134251

Hello,
I tried to pay using your system and it will not let me. Says this email
address in no correct for the authorized buyer. I tried several times and
made sure I used the correct email but it wouldn't accept it. Please advise
as what I need to do.

Cindy

At first I thought it was peeps who were trying to pay immediately. But this one had been closed for several minutes. This was a regular auction with BIN. She used BIN.

The problem they all have is that thier e-mail address is not correct.

Hello,

Buy It Now items may take a few minutes or so to go down into Closed Auctions. I checked your post sale and it is there now -- the first three steps have been completed already. You can locate the item by doing a search for auction ID.

The same thing happened to me this week ( I couldn't send ebay invoice and buyer couldn't check out saying not the buyer or some such thing) on a BIN item. I don't use Vendio checkout and I am pretty sure it's an Ebay glitch and not a Vendio issue. I never did figure out why it happened. The buyer went directly to PayPal and paid there and was very understanding.

I get emails from customers about this too. It is a Vendio glitch - not an ebay problem. Vendio is not recognizing their email - because the auction is not in the closed items yet - is still showing as active. It is very annoying for my customers who want to pay right away and be done - instead they have to wait (sometimes for 15 plus minutes) for the auction to go to closed. If I am sitting at the computer I can refresh the active items to get it to drop - but I use Vendio to streamline my auction post sale - not to increase my work.

Please look into this - as there is a delay on Vendio's end in recognizing closed auctions.

Sonja

It is checked now, because it finally let her pay. But it took several minutes and a very upset customer before it happened.

Like everyone else, I'm paying to use Vendio because I want to streamline everything and not have to worry about it while I'm at work. If I have to babysit my checkout system and hit refresh a dozen times to get it to work, I'm wasting my money.

The last auction you referenced had not closed at the time of your post. It closed less than a minute ago.

Sorry... at first glance I thought it was Dutch.

It must be very frustrating for you and your buyers.

Hello,

Yesterday eBay experienced some problems with their API system (please see the Announcements forum for more information on this). There may be some side effects -- especially if you had items closing the morning of the 5th, which is when the API problems were occurring. Buy It Now items may sometimes have a delay from moving to Active to Closed.

Regards,

Sonya
