Changed server/e-mail address a few weeks ago. Changed all E-bay, PayPal, Vendio preferences to reflect new mail address. Kept old e-mail for couple of weeks and noticed that PayPal notifications were going to the old address even though I'd made the new address "Primary". So I eliminated the old address thinking that would clear up the problem, but NO! All my PayPal payments are still going to my old address and I cannot access them. Called PayPal and they say it's an E-bay problem. Called E-bay (phone call) and they said to go to Sell a Similar Item on my auction page and go to No 4
(Shipping and Payments) and change the address there. I did -- and thought it would solve my problem. But NO -- because that particular place keeps defaulting back to my old address no matter how often I change it. These are NOT relists. These are brand new auctions which I've put on AFTER NEW ADDRESS HAS BEEN IN PLACE. I will put in the new address and go back a bit later and the old address is there. I'm down to two auctions running because I can't stand the hassle of sorting it out when they end. Can anybody help here? PLEASE.
What eBay said to do is correct -- but, you actually have to submit that item in order to get the email address there to change permanently. They unfortunately don't have any other place or method of changing that but once you do that you won't have this problem anymore. Don't forget to apply for a refund for that item with ebay after you list it (and end it).
