I had a purchase from my eBay store a few hours ago. 5507595764 Customer completed the checkout. I view the item for the first time this morning thru sales manager. Under the payment received...says UPI OK to start. When I view my "waiting for payment", it says there that the UPI is OK to start also.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this whole UPI/Unpaid item thing. But, shouldn't that only show up after 7 days? Hopefully, it will disappear when the payment is made. I'd hate to file a UPI on the wrong customer.
Can't you make the "UPI OK to start" show and be clickable AFTER 7 days?
I've decided that, as I grow in age, I DO hate change the most
Indeed, in most cases you can file an Unpaid Item Dispute only after 7 days. But, in eBay's new UPI process, there are cases when the dispute can be filed immediately: if the buyer is no longer a registered eBay user, or the buyer is from a country that you do not ship to. Additionally, if you reach agreement with the buyer not to complete the transaction, you can file a dispute before the 7 days have passed.
The Start link will disappear once payment has been recorded in Post Sale.
