I cannot relist 6 eBay items. ERROR reports hyroglyfics, and states 3 possibilities, nothig stating problem I am current with you, current with eBay, access to all information via eBay to you, current. This is costing me money. HELP! Please advise ASAP. Please DO NOT TELL ME IT IS EBAY, for it shows no problem, nor does it tell me the error!
The error you are receiving is most likely related to the state of your eBay account. To resolve the problem, we would recommend that you go to eBay and create and launch a test listing on their website. If you are able to complete this process without receiving an error from eBay, please write back and let us know as soon as you can.
Your account on eBay may appear to be up-to-date -- if you contact eBay they will likely tell you that you should not be having trouble -- despite this, you will most likely get a credit card update screen when you actually attempt to create a listing. Once you're updated there you should be able to successfully resubmit your auctions in Vendio.
This is not so. I already have done what you say. I got this scrambled %AGI% in red. eBay was already talked to my online chat, a week ago, they had things incorrect and actually sent that email to fraud. Nothing has changed with you or eBay. Please advise. Losing even more money.
If you are getting the error message %%API%% when your items attempt to list, this is an eBay billing glitch.
Typically their reps in the online chat and unfortunately also in email aren't completely aware of this issue.
There is one really quick way to see where this problem is as well as to correct it:
1. Log into your eBay account directly at the eBay.com website.
2. Click to sell an item at auction, then continue.
When you continue to the next page, you will be advised that you are past due and will be prompted for further billing information. This is a glitch in their new billing system, where even when you have your credit card or checking account information on file with them, they simply havent charged you and placed you into a past due status.
Once you can clear this message to where you can click to sell an item directly at eBay without being prompted for billing information, you can resubmit your items via Vendio as well.
We are pushing for better error messaging on this specific issue, and realize their listing %%API%% doesn't exactly give a clear look into what might be wrong or how to correct it.
