It's working great and speedy for me this morning ... and that's even going thru AOL! (which used to be really slow) ...
Hope you all get the same satisfaction we're having right now ....

Morning all... I am back to follow up on my "drive-by" spout-off last night.
I do have to admit things are running more smoothly this morning! Pages are loading much quicker, however I still don't think they load as "fast" as the "old" format.
I am also having a problem deleting old photos. When I hit the "delete" button.. the page just sits there forever.. (and I even experimented with this.. by deleting only ONE picture!)... it still took an exceptionally long time ...
I haven't yet "launched any" auctions today.. but so far this slower-load time and the picture thing is all the trouble I am having.
FYI .. running XP ..AOL .. IE6
Thanks for working on this Vendio. As soon as these little "glitches" are fixed... I too will be ranting and cheering.. about the "new look" !!!
We have continued reports of slowness for some users, and we are in the process of investigating what might be causing this now. We will post an update as soon as we have more information. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know that we are continuing to look at this. We have heard from some users that uninstalling the eBay Toolbar from IE has helped with this problem. If you have the eBay Toolbar installed you might want to try this. Also, please try disabling other software that might be running in the background such as virus-checkers, ad-blockers, etc. Please post back and let us know if you find that disabling a specific software program does help with the problem.
Also, in the meantime you might want to download Sales Manager Pro to create your listings, as this would not be affected by the redesign.

I have cable connection and since the new 'improved'? vendio it is taking way too long for pages to load.
I do not use the ebay toolbar, and I certainly am not going to disable my virus checker, that does not make sense.
Also if I disable my ad blocker then I will be even slower.
Why should I download Sales Manager Pro and pay extra? just because vendio did not test the new features.
These are just excuses for not-so-elegant programming!
I have been with vendio (auctionwatch) since the beginning and I cannot afford a service that is this slow.
Please fix or you will end up losing customers.
There are other services out there that are much cheaper than vendio.
I am and have been loyal to a point, but I am losing patience.
Thank you.

Are you a Special Olympian, Diana? Did you actually stop to think before you keyed that? Uninstall eBay toolbar, uninstall anti-virus programs, uninstall Adaware, uninstall background programs??? Download Sales Manager Pro (and re-learn everything)?? Here's a thought... get YOUR collective acts together BEFORE you launch! Every time you people try something new, WE pay the price in lost sales! So in fact, we pay you twice. I expect a free week or two of service from Vendio- it's the least you could do to compensate me for my frustration and foregone earnings.
What was wrong with your website that you had to "redesign" everything? I for one thought it was just dandy- everything I needed and I knew where to find it.

VERY slow here too ( on TWO computers and one of them is new) - no ebay toolbar - no firewall- not disabling my antivirus....got a list to list tonight ...

Sig files are too much trouble! http://stores.ebay.com/Moody-Mommys-Marvelous-Postcards
We have prepared a fix that we will be pushing tomorrow which should resolve these issues with site slowness. Thank you for your continuing patience, please check Announcements for updates.

The reason that we often ask customers who are experiencing a new problem to disable virus scanners, popup blockers, toolbars, etc is to help us better isolate the problem. There is relatively little risk in temporarily disabling (not uninstalling) popup blockers and anti-virus software for a couple minutes while on the Vendio site.
Yesterday, desertbabydoll discovered that the eBay toolbar was having trouble digesting the iframes (specifically the javascript used in the src attribute) that are an integral part of the new navigation. Within just a few minutes, Chuck and I were able to find a fix and it was released this morning (after a thorough code review).
It is often only by disabling (or in the eBay toolbar case, uninstalling) third-party add-ons that proxy web traffic, are we able to clearly isolate where our code is getting trapped up. Usually, we can very quickly find a slightly different way to write the code to slip past these add-ons.
I fully support Diana's post and am proud to work with such a professional.

You're dodging the main issue- Vendio should have tested, checked and re-checked this all to death BEFORE launch. Vendio did not do that- you launched this with glitches. THAT, my friend is totally UNPROFESSIONAL! This is not a free service- we PAY for this, and any screw-ups come out of OUR pockets. Vendio charges my credit card whether the service works properly or not; whether I'm satisfied or not; whether I'm getting paid or not. If you bought any product on the market today, got it home and it didn't work, but the company responsible for it said "Oh well- we're keeping the money you paid us, anyway"- how thrilled would you be?

Vendio, I really think you are missing the point on this issue.
It is not OUR job to test YOUR new programming.
THAT should have been done by YOU before implementation!
We pay for the service, that is unless you want to pay US for testing your products!!
I am open to that...otherwise please do not use us as guinea pigs.
