What happened to the pictures in my auction? Is this a common problem with the new Image hosting changes? Anybody else experiencing this?
Please advise,
Thanks,
Pete

Yeah, this is happening to me right now, too! What IS going on?? I checked the announcements and nothing... I use a Mac; is this another Mac problem? Pete, are you using a Mac?

No, I'm using a Gateway. Never had this problem before. I emailed customer service, but they have 24 hours to respond. Any other solutions?

I'm running Windows XP/Internet Explorer and having same problem. Seems every Wednesday and Thursday when I attempt to post auctions I have this same problem with Vendio.

Yeah, right- I remember last week I had a real upset with image hosting! I was practically pulling my hair out. So far I haven't read any solutions, but we're not the only ones- this is starting to come up on the Ebay Outlook board, too. Some people are having problems in the gallerys ONLY, but I seem to be having them in both places.

Hopefully this is just a glitch that will soon be fixed... how are we supposed to get bids if no one can see what the item looks like??

Hi all,
Please see the announcement about this issue. This has been resolved: your images should now be viewable. Also, any images you uploaded during that time should not have been affected. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Regards,
Chuck

Thanks Chuck,
I emailed customer svc w/ the item #. Seems like everything is OK now. Is there some kind of System Maintenance happening every Wed and Thur night?
Thanks for your prompt response,
Pete

Chuck,
Thanks for your response. It seems like they're back, but the only problem I'm having now is that when I go to look at my auctions, they start to load in and then about 3/4 of the way loaded they just crash my browser. I'm using Mozilla on a Mac. This happens to me when I access them through Vendio AND ebay. Does that have anything to do with the image hosting? This was happening last week when the hosting changed over. Could you check out my listings and let me know if that is happening to you? My ID is playbackfactor.
Thanks!

Isn't it great that 5 minutes before an auction ends, POOF! No images. Great way to increase the ending bid price. Thank You! The straw.....................

Hi playbackfactor,
I used Firefox on Mac and viewed your listings fine. Also works on my IE. Not sure why that would happen to you, but it sounds system specific.

Chuck,
So, I've checked my listings and they do work with IE but DO NOT work with Mozilla or Firefox and I prefer them to IE. Do you have any ideas as to why this might be? They were working fine with Mozilla before the image hosting problems which leads me to believe it has SOMETHING to do with Vendio Image Hosting. Are there any options I have that you know of? I would really rather use Mozilla as it seems to be a lot faster with ebay and Vendio.
Thanks again! Yves

Hi Yves,
Thanks for the update. Are you getting any error messages before Mozilla crashes? Have you tried clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page?

Sonya
