I have tried to email Vendio customer support, and that was 5 days ago, with no response yet. So, I guess I will vent here so everybody can see. I want to know how on earth Vendio can charge me for IMAGE HOSTING when I signed up for your YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION PLAN which stated EXPLICITLY that I would NOT be charged A DIME for image hosting thru the remainder of my term that I paid $250 for? My term does not end until APRIL, 2005!!!

I get NO emails stating any changes, no announcements whatsoever, suddenly I just get a bill 3x what I normally get charged, and then it immediately gets billed to my credit card? You had better get that charge REFUNDED to my card, with an apology and a promise never to do it again, or you will be facing an IMMEDIATE CHARGEBACK from my credit card company. If you think you can bill me like this with NO notice, and NO right after you agreed to in the terms of my contract with you, and then go run and hide, you better guess again!

Our apologies for the delay, we did receive your email sent 10/18 and we in the process of responding with the following:

The additional fee on your account was from the new Image Hosting plan that was implemented recently. As you are an Annual plan customer, we have credited this back to your account.

We will email you as well to confirm.

Christopher!!! ME, TOO!!!! DANG, THIS slipped RIGHT BY me that you have me signed up for addl. 19.95 per month ...

BUT We are annual plan too!!!!

Am I supposed to go into 'my account' and choose the bottom-most thing that says, 'Discontinue My Image Hosting Plan"????? because YOU are the ones that defaulted that in, even though YOU should KNOW we are Annual Plan payers!!!!!!


Thanks... please check into this a.s.a.p.

Did vendio do this error to ALL their Annual Plan members?

Hello,

It's not really an error, it's handled slightly different from most situations you have been seeing on the forums. If you discontinue your image hosting plan you won't have images on any items anymore. As an annual plan customer, image hosting is still going to be free for you. I will need to check your account to make sure that everything is correct and current -- please check your email.

thank you VERY much for clearing that up Sonya ... i was going to 'cancel' the image hosting' plan to get rid of the $19.95 charge, and you say THAT would have made my images disappear? ... thank God I didn't do that! ...... AND!!! thank you for the private email you sent us .. i'm sure you will try to make this right ... ---- marcia in ohio

Hello, Sonya! I am also on the Annual Listing Plan....my plan expires on April 24, 2005. $19.95 was removed from my
checking account by Vendio on October 21st.
Is this correct? Could you please check my
account and let me know if this charge by Vendio was appropriate? Thanks.
