Hello Lucy,
our shipping calculator is based on the information you provide at listing creation time, like seller's ZIP code, and item dimensions and weight.
However, this does not imply the use of WBN or Vendio checkout, provided that you list your items through Vendio services.

I am glad you asked this!! I was wondering myself. Great, it can be used in the listings without having to use Vendio's checkout. Many of my customers use the ebay checkout or wait for a note directly from me. Thanks once again!

Marius, thanks for the reply. A calculator isn't what I'm after but maybe I'll try it out on one auction and see what happens.
As I said in my earlier thread, what I REALLY want is to put more than one shipping option and amount into eBay Shipping and Payment Details straight from Vendio.
Right now I can only put in one amount and it shows up on eBay as "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service (within United States)"
So I have to edit each auction after it's on eBay to change the shipping to whatever I'm going to use, First Class, for example.
Sometimes I offer more than one shipping choice and I have to revise shipping to add that in too.
Sonya pointed out I can add information in the shipping and payment details field that follows the description but this won't solve my problem. If the charges and shipping method don't show up in the right place in the auction they don't carry through to PayPal.
This is one great big fat Vendio nuisance for me. Everything else is fast and efficient. Images, templates, everything.
Oh well... Maybe Vendio will change the shipping and payment details to match what's on eBay. I hope so. It would be so nice to not have to revise every single auction.

I tried it today and still had to go in and revise my auctions to show more than "See Item Description..." or in your case "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service (within United States)" . I do so wish that Vendio and Ebay would "talk" to each other. If I could just do the shipping stuff once and have it appear on both Vendio and Ebay the way that I want it...I probably would faint. Ebay can be frustrating with their "List it here only" attitude.
However, it is great having the shipping calculator right in the description area of my auctions. (I used 2 forms of shipping) People don't have to go to the bottom of the page anymore just to find out how much the shipping is!! One step closer.

I'm with you all the way when you say:

Oh well, maybe some day Vendio will come through. Sooner rather than later, I hope. Until then I guess we have to continue doing double work to get shipping info in the right place.
