When trying to clear out old images, how can I get my folder to alphabetize the images so that I can find them?

Hello,
The default for the new Image Hosting sort order is by last viewed date, however, there are several different sorting options now. You may sort by Filename, Expiration Date, Last Viewed, Upload Date, and Size. To change the sort type, just click column title link corresponding with the sort you prefer. All sort options can be set ascending or descending (you will see a small arrow icon that will indicate which sort option is being used and the direction of the sort.)
For example, to sort alphabetically, just click the Filename link. If the arrow is pointing upward, filenames with lower character values (a, b, c, etc.) will appear at the beginning of the list after numerical filenames.

Thanks Sonya. It does work for lower case, but what about files that I've named with upper case letters for organizational purposes? Why shouldn't we be able to sort by file name? It's difficult to find images that have a particular name - such as the name of the a magazine I'm selling - when the list is sorted by last viewed date? Personally, it was a lot easier for me to delete old images when they appeared alphabetically.

Hi there,
If you sort by filename, the images are alphabetical though the sorting is case sensitive, unlike a "dictionary" sort. You can read more about sorting in the Image Hosting How To.
