I have had problems recently with Vendio not importing payment information when multiple items are paid through PP. Is this a "glitch" or what's going on?

Hello,
If you have the IPN enabled properly, and the payments being made directly at PayPal are being submitted as auction and contain the buyer's eBay ID and the auction number, they should all record properly. Let us know if you have some item numbers you'd like us to look at.

DO you want item numbers - I have combined them now and manually ipdated to "Paid" status. Here are the Order numbers: ORDER 727909613, ORDER 727908134, ORDER 727907380, ORDER 727898135, ORDER 727893216, ORDER 727892942, ORDER 727892433, ORDER 727890034, ORDER 727886569, ORDER 727885729, ORDER 727884049, ORDER 727881285, ORDER 727876859, 727858334. I am sure there are scads more because it seems like NONE of the combined item payments received updated through PayPal IPN but single items seem to be ok.

Any update? I am still having to combine items paid together and mark "paid" - Vendio is not picking up the payments. I do not use checkout so the items are not combined on Vendio until I process payments (I am not sure that makes a difference or not)
I haven't always done things this way. I used to just package from PayPal directly and then go into Vendio and bulk-mark all paid items shipped and gave feedback based on your info. When I started getting complaints about not leaving feedback for buyers with multiple items I got suspicious and sure enough- they weren't getting 3 "paid" marked off. I don't know whether this part of the IPN ever worked right.

I am sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, if your customers are going directly through PayPal, the items are not going to combine themselves in Vendio. The only way they combine is if your customers go through Vendio Checkout.
When you combine, is step 3 marked off for the items that had been paid for? For example, you have a customer paying for 2 items in PayPal, do you notice when combining the items if step 3 is checked off for both already?

No - usually none of the items have step 3 checked. I have to do that when I combine. I don't want to use Vendio checkout - buyer don't like it and I don't need it! Is there a way to get this to work withour checkout?

It will work if you have the URL for the PayPal IPN stored in your PayPal account. Please go to My Account > Post Sale Acceleration, you should see a link there on how to set up the IPN.

I did that long ago when I set up the IPN - I do get "3" checked when individual payments come in. It just seems Vendio doesnt update ANY when a multiple item payment is received. Is there anyway to fix this?? (which is what I wanted to know from the start )

bmmm - I'll have to look at one next time I get it. I delete the PP notifications and get my information directly from the PP site. THey are all listed with the payment information on the PP site.

Actually, the next time you get one, can you also forward a copy of the payment notification to us along with the item numbers affected? If I have to put in a suggestion for orders to get recognized, it will help to have the notice. Just let me know when you get one and I'll tell you where to send it.

Hi Sonya, Can you let me know where to send the payment notification also this happen very frequently to me but i never asked about this yet. Not all I say 75% of combined auctions do not show up as paid after the buyer pays. we use the Paypal IPN the single auctions go through but if its something with combined shipping we usually have to mark everything. Yes- where should I forward a copy of the notification to? I think PP changed the wording of the Subject line in their notification emails - it now says "Notification of payment received for multiple items.." or something like that..still waiting for one to come through! Wouldn't you know I haven't had a multiple since you asked for a copy (but had to combine several items when shipping today from previous notifications that I deleted.

I dont know if you guys changed anything but I'm not receiving any IPN's now ( for at least the last 3 hours I see the payment at paypal but they are not going through here please help!

We have logged a bug on the current issue of PayPal payments not recording properly in post sale. This is not the issue that you have outlined -- unfortunately, we won't be able to test that one properly until the current issue gets resolved.
