I've stated this in an earlier message, but it does not appear to be a priority to you. I absolutely must have my welcome check-out message restored ASAP. I've been having nothing but problems with International buyers and other problems because the buyer is not reading important notes about the transaction when they go to check-out. The wording is still in my account, but they are not seeing it. Please up this on your priority list. Christmas is coming, and there are important facts that need to be relayed to my customers. Other Vendio customers, take note, and speak out here if you're having the same problem.

FYI, I will be sending the following emails to my customers until this function is restored. This is just the opening sentence. What follows is all the info regarding shipping, personal checks, Christmas shipping, etc that they are no longer able to see when they check-out. Please take care of this ASAP as this is not great advertising for you.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my check-out (or for your payment)! Normally, the following information is supposed to greet you at the check-out, but unfortunately, Vendio has dropped the ball and I have to do this for a while.....
Thanks, Vendio, for your speedy attention to this matter.

Chris:
Thanks for finally doing something. I mentioned this a couple of days ago without a lot of concern. Not sure why this is happening. I remember checking it a couple of months ago and it was working fine. The reason I found out was one of my customers who went through my check-out was appalled at the thought of me holding her item for a couple of weeks if she sent a check. All of this is outlined in my welcome message. So I went into a link to copy and paste that section and email it to her, but wa-lah! nothing there. Very disconcerting! I really don't want to open a Vendio store. I thought about it because of the Dealio catastrophe, but I've got high hopes that this will be corrected very very soon. Please make sure to follow-up on it for me.

Hate to be a pest, but still want the Welcome message to be restored to my check-out procedure. I'm paying an extraordinary amount of money to use your company - it is a function that is part of the post-sale management that I AM PAYING FOR, and I would like it restored. My buyers are being confused and it's just going to get worse as Christmas nears. Most of the sellers out there are probably unaware that it is missing, and unless they follow what the buyer uses, they won't realize it's missing. You keep saying it's been forwarded to tech support, but then nothing happens. I do not want a store and I don't want a shopping cart enabled. I WANT THE POST-SALE WELCOME MESSAGE RESTORED. Why do we have it to edit if we can't use it? Do something Vendio. I'm not going to stop asking about this until something is done.
The change was made (7 months ago now) to streamline the process for buyers, after several
rounds of usability testing by buyers who wanted a more streamlined flow.
It was originally intended as simply a "welcome to my checkout and thanks for the purchase."
I would recommend that the information be put in both shipping and payment details (listing) and the WBN message text itself to satisfy this need.
Having said that, we have also passed along the suggestion on your behalf to bring this back either completely or as an option during future changes.

The problem posed with your suggestions are that 1) People rarely actually read all the stuff on an auction page. I really am trying to keep the wording to a minimum - I've been blasted before by potential customers who say there's too much to read on the auction page and 2) Putting the wordage into the WBN is okay, but unfortunately if the buyer has already gone into the check-out, they probably won't bother to read it OR (more likely) it goes directly into their Spam folder, and they never see it at all. The one good thing with having it where it was, is that when they would click on the check-out in the ad OR the email following, they would see it. I am highly stressed by the news that I can't have a welcome message that explains many of my guidelines and important messages to my customers. I'm also highly stressed that even though I have it available under my post sale management custom listing text - it's NOT AVAILABLE!! Why is it there if it's not available?? And according to one or two of your messages above, it's available if I enable a shopping cart or open a store - why is it available then and not now? I don't understand. Please make this an OPTION that we may choose. Kind of ridiculous!
