Seasons Greetings, Vendio ... It's time for my annual reminder to you to please change the date in the DROPPIN THE BALL template to 2006.
It's one of my favorite templates (although I have changed the inside of it -- auction backgrounds look great against a plain pink wash) and I use it all year.
Related question: Now that you are expanding services in all directions, will you have time to go back and create some new templates? We could use some new icons, too. (For instance, the only entry under HISTORY is pyramids and Egyptians????).

Hello,
I will see if we can get that changed within the next couple days -- thanks for pointing that out!
Regarding templates -- we may come out with some new template themes in the future. We do want to make sure that you know that you can create your own templates in the workshop, or modify existing ones and choose from a huge selection of clip art, backgrounds, borders, etc. Please let us know if you have any questions about the template workshop.

The image will be changed tomorrow. Any listings that you create today with the Droppin' The Ball template will be automatically updated when the new file is released.

Thanks, Sonya & Christian, for the fast response on DROPPIN THE BALL!
I am very familiar with the workings of the template workshop, and I spend WAY too much time tweaking templates -- changing colors, icons, and fonts, and sometimes building a template from scratch. Having some new frames would be lovely (it's always fun to work with something new) but most of all there are still serious holes in the icons, like with the "history" category I mentioned in my original note.
But I can always use a decorative, non-themed template, so it's not critical. When people compliment me on my great-looking auctions and big, clear images, I tell them that I couldn't do it without Vendio! Many thanks for making me look good for the last six years. -- Val
