I have finally diagnosed that my HUNDREDS of listing foul-ups -- my listings incorrectly state that items are for local pick-up only, or I will ship to US only - or that I only accept PayPal or BidPay-- result from my heavy use of Profiles when listing in Vendio. I look at my profiles- they all look fine, then I create a listing from them and it's all screwed up. What's going on Vendio? Could someone please look at my UK profile (or my NY profile, or Germany or FL or CA - to name a few) and explain why they create messed up listings? No wonder my international sales died! This is going to be one bleak XMas for this single Mom - eBay is my sole income and I'm spending from now until Christmas cleaning up your mess. To top it off, I see some of my ended listings have the image NOT AVAILABLE - are any current listings missing the views too?

My only consolation is that I haven't used ENLARGE PHOTOS on most of my auctions. Is Dealio really worth risking your core business income?

Hello,

We are looking into the 'local pickup only' issue at this moment. We will post back to this thread with more information.

Any idea of what is causing this? While you have been looking into the problem, I have had to manually correct approximately 600 international listings (with many more US listings to go) that blocked my intended market from bidding by specifying for local pick-up only or US sales only. I am sick at the thought of lost revenue and angry that Vendio did not warn us that profiles may not work properly due to remapping for eBay changes. I need to move on and learn how to correct my profiles to correct clean listings that will post properly. I assume some responsibility for this. I should have looked at the fine print in the listings instead if trusting Vendio to do the job right!

I know that Vendio does not announce changes to the listing form. Some of us use older "forms" (ones created earlier and saved as "Profiles" or "Pending Listings" When Vendio makes changes and we aren't aware of them, then we have not filled out the form properly (I know I never look at the bottom part of the form because I don't change it from listing to listing). Changing preferences only works with "Create NEW listings" and will not change the way the Profile is filled out.

Any news on this yet? I am leaving my profiles as they are to help you diagnose the problem in case another user that depends on Profiles runs into the same problem. Using profiles can result in hundreds of corrupted listings when eBay or Vendio changes listings formats. You need to inform your users early when making these changes and advise them of the impact they may have on profiles. I have had to swallow huge losses due to the lack of Vendio communicating to its customers and your billing department doesn't seem to care. Profiles do not work as stated! The only way I use Selling Manager is to create listings and store images and Vendio has lately proven very unreliable for these functions

I am still waiting. Do you have any intent on diagnosing this?

Hello,

I don't know what your settings were when this happened, but the cause of it appears to be due to customers not having either ship-to location marked off in auction site preferences under My Account. If you remember what you previously had set up there then we can tell you for sure what went on with your account.

Regards,

Sonya

They were the same as they are now. I NEVER indicated for local pick up only or for US only or no payments selected - it was all Vendio's doing!

Drat! Another slipped by me -- and still no answers. I got this Ask Seller A Question today (but read it after the listing CLOSED):

This message was sent while the listing was active.
6950tracy is a potential buyer.
I am confused -- the item description says local pick up, but at
the bottom of the page you quote mailing prices
